Our friends and my wife and I managed to find a vacancy at the Country Place Cottage at the last minute and were very pleased by our stay. I would personally say that it was overall the best B&B my wife and I ever stayed at, and this is now on the short list of places we plan to return under similar circumstances. The complaints I read in other reviews either no longer exist or were very minor (e.g., steep stairs). The interior of the cottage is beautiful and comfortable, the grounds are exceptional, and Patsy is the perfect host. And you will want to meet their pets too; they are as friendly as their owner! Oh, and the breakfast was wonderful also; there is a wide gap in quality between the "free breakfast" found at the chain motels/hotels and here!|| I don't write up very many places on here and the other rating sites, but the Country Place Cottage deserves it.

We chose Country Place Cottage for a special weekend family get together. We wanted a place that we could just relax, away from hustle and bustle with no distractions We could not have chosen anything more perfect. The property is gorgeous, well maintained and just beautiful no matter where you look. We were even fortunate enough to see a calf born while there. Patsy is definetely the hostess with the mostest - she took great care of us making sure all of our needs were met. Each day the breakfast was different, delicious and plentiful. The homemade cookies on the counter when we we walked in gave an immediate warmth and made us fee welcome.

We stayed 3 nights at the cottage while in the area for the Renaissance Festival. The pictures really don't do it justice! It felt like a home away from home. The cottage is beautifully decorated with wonderful antiques, has everything you could need, and sitting on the porch with the views of the beautiful and meticulously maintained property was a great way to start and end each day. Patsy and Rayburn are wonderful hosts and so helpful. We already want to go back!

It is a great place to relax and enjoy the country. The B&B sits on 32 acres with two ponds and cattle and the place is beautiful. We only stayed one night. Next morning, Patsy made us a great breakfast. We will definitely go back and stay longer.

Very secluded and peaceful location. The down stairs part with kitchen and dining is a little cramped. The internet service was in and out. The stairs that lead to the bed rooms are very steep. The smoke detector beeped about every 3 minutes. The light switches are not in the bed room. Only one TV upstairs in the King room and is a small 19 inch older model. You have to share a bathroom and it is small. The King bed was very comfy and we slept very well after a long day at Antique week in Warrenton, Tx. Breakfast was good and a great way to start the day. Paying out was a little of a disappointment because they only wanted to make one credit card transaction and there was two of us paying for different rooms.

Had an enjoyable stay at the ranch with our 19 month old and 4 year old. The boys loved wandering around, checking out the cows, and riding on the mule around the ranch.||||Miss Patsy made us feel very welcome. She is very friendly and cooks a great big breakfast :)
