Cottages of Winedale

Great accomodations for our purpose - seeing plays by the Shakespeare at Winedale program. The location is about 1/2 mile from the "barn" where the young actors present the season's plays. Our cottage had two bedrooms with en suite baths, an additional half bath in a bunk room hosting three, and two kitchens. Well and comfortably appointed in rustic country. The living and dining area provided ample space for the nine of us to gather, plus the additional friends and family not sleeping over. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast casserole, delivered quietly to the main kitchen. Just shy of a five-star review because of a dangerous step up to the front porch (with the areas' ample rain, the steps might have sunk a bit since being set), and a poorly working bedroom doorknob that wouldn't stay closed. I'd happily return for another stay!

You can tell by the trail of glitter and feathers that we had a grand time here in Round Top, Texas. We were the belles of the gypsy Junk-O-Rama Prom. The antique/flea markets were a lot of fun. Staying there at the Cottages of Winedale made the trip so much easier. We loved our cottage, the specially prepared breakfast treats, and the fact that there was plenty of room for all of us crazy girls. Thanks Deborah for all your help, hospitality, and all of the personal touches. We will stay here again!

This place was absolutely gorgeous and extremely peaceful. it's ran by the nicest people, me and my cousin were running extremely late getting there and they stayed up Just to make sure that they could still show us around the house .The hospitality that was shown to us was absolutely amazing and to top it off they have the sweetest cows to feed. The house was beautiful and extremely clean. We can not wait to come back for another stay. Ps. the coffee cake they made us for breakfast was amazing 🤤 Thank yall for a great experience.
