The Steamboat Inn

Everything about this B&B was absolutely perfect. It is located within a block of downtown and so easy to walk to everything. The rooms are all beautiful and the bed was so comfy. The owners were so personable from the time we arrived until we left. They even had a nice outside fire pit at night for guest. 24 hour amenities include wine, cookies, chocolates, tea, coffee, breakfast, and games. I will definitely come back again.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about the Steamboat Inn. Lana was an excellent host/owner. Everything was immaculate! The room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast every morning was delicious! The grounds were beautiful! Well maintained.|We were in walking distance to everything in this quaint little town. A perfect place to call home for the weekend. We highly recommend the Steamboat Inn B&B. You could not ask for better service. We will return!

So lovely to sip chicory coffee in the big porch swing under the wisteria tree to while reading and enjoying the beautiful azaleas. Beautiful experience! Such a nice place to stay. Very clean, spacious and cozy rooms with clawfoot tubs and true East Texas hospitality! Breakfast was very nice followed by the walk around the historic downtown with its fun local shops only a block away. We loved it and so did our dog. They were especially hospitable to her.

Can't say enough good things about The Steamboat Inn and the owners/staff. Alex, Lana & David made our 3 night stay there feel like visiting with old friends. Friendly and informative about all things Jefferson, TX, they serve a yummy breakfast and offer complimentary wine and cookies in the afternoon. Located a few short blocks from historic downtown Jefferson, The Steamboat Inn is easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, historic homes and other local attractions, but nestled in a quiet residential area. The inn is the best of both worlds with historic ambiance and architectural details and all the modern conveniences. And, it has not 1, but 2 lovely porches each with its own swing. All this and very reasonably priced.

Wow. Wow. Wow. What a place! What service! What an AMAZING COUPLE that runs this beautiful, cozy and oh so special B&B! I was in town for business, and was really unclear what I would be pulling up to the night I arrived, but I was greeted by co-owner Alex and one of the chaps that works on the property like I was already part of the family. My room was so lovely - and yes, the beds are amazing! I loved the claw tub with the little dinner tray over it - that was my favorite when I arrived; but when I woke up the next morning to Lena and her amazing breakfast - I was just smitten with every aspect of the experience! Can't recommend this enough and can't wait to spend more time there when we get back to our work there in February!

This is THE place to stay!!! It is only a little over a block(walking) to the heart of downtown. The hosts have an hour or so window for Breakfast (8-930)so there is no set time and and you can sleep in. The rooms and Home is beautifully decorated! There are plenty of cookies, drinks and the wine available in the main hall. The porches are a very inviting place to set and be lazy and enjoy the down time from shopping. The afternoon outdoor area with a fire pit is a great place to gather and enjoy great company!! This IS one of my top 5 places I have ever stayed in! The bed was super comfy! Our hosts were WONDERFUL!!! The food was Excellent! Not one complaint! We have stayed at several of the Bed and breakfasts in Jefferson but this one is by far THE BEST!!!

Annual grannies gone wild trip- we loved our accommodations! From the time we arrived it felt like visiting friends. Alex and Lana greeted us, carried our bags in, and made us comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, the beds comfy, the bathrooms brand new and sparkling clean. Location allowed us to walk into town. Complimentary wine was poured at happy hour and the breakfast was delish!! Alex had a fire going in the fire pit when we came home from dinner. Delightful!! Charming and comfortable- winner!!

The proprietors (Alex and Lana) were welcoming and the inn was lovely and cozy! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Jefferson and our stay at the Steamboat Inn. Great location-you can easily walk to the downtown area, which has several museums, antique stores and restaurants.|10/10, we would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to our friends and family.
