High Cotton Cottage Bed and Breakfast

Brian and Carolyn are great people as you'll see. From the beginning, they were easy to talk with answering all of our questions and requests immediately, The house is welcoming, warm, and walking distance to so many opportunities around the area that you'll maybe spend time there than you might. But don't miss the wonderful breakfast or the snacks, wine, and amenities that they provide when you arrive. I feel like I've made new friends and have been blessed with their story which is not just interesting, but inspiring. We're loking forward to the next visit.

The Sweetest Little Getaway! We loved our time in St. Jo at the beautiful High Cotton Cottage. Believe it or not, it was more than the thoughtful treats, dreamy beds and linens, and gourmet breakfasts... it was the intentionality of the precious hosts, Brian and Carolyn. They put their hearts into each and every detail. The local wineries are not to be missed and we would love to go back when it's cooler to fully take in Brian's amazing backyard oasis. Another thing to be noted is they were very accommodating to my gluten free request and I was served an equally yummy breakfast as the rest of our party. I can't recommend this stay enough and wish them the best as they have big plans to continue to serve the community of St. Jo! :)

We loved our time away at the High Cotton Cottage! Brian & Carolyn are such wonderful hosts- they called us ahead of time to ensure all the details were taken care of. Brian greeted us at the B&B to walk around and welcome us. The beds and linens were very comfortable and luxurious. I'll say that the food was my absolute favorite part of staying here- from the breads, to the homemade amaretto cream to the smoked brisket breakfast tacos- it was all delicious & AMAZING!! Brian and Carolyn are so personable and helpful. We loved our time relaxing at High Cotton Cottage; can't wait to visit again soon.

The adorable cottage itself is ideal for a couples getaway or girls getaway weekend as it has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths that you have to yourselves and it is located within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and museums in St. Jo. It is also just a short drive to 4 different vineyards and the nearby quaint towns of Nocona and Muenster. Brian and Carolyn were fantastic hosts providing outstanding breakfasts (and other goodies as well) and every recommendation from them was spot on. I highly recommend High Cotton Cottage and we plan on going back there again in the future.

The accommodations are top notch and the owners (Brian and Carolyn) went above and beyond to make our stay the very best. It exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were gourmet and plentiful. We were able to eat outside in the adorable patio area. So nice!!

The cottage was fantastic! The details inside and out were over the top and the owner’s/hosts, Brian and Carolyn, were amazing! This duo are an incredible team, two of the kindest and most hospitable people I’ve ever met and their gourmet breakfast was the BEST.

We chose the High Cotton Cottage as the place to celebrate our 30th anniversary. From the delightfully decorated cottage to the beautifully tranquil outdoor garden area, you feel like you just stepped into a warm hug. The property draws you in to explore every nook and cranny full of beautiful detail, whimsical fun, and vintage charm. However, it is the warm and sincere dedication that the owners, Brian and Carolyn, put into everything they do that elevates the experience to the next level. From the welcoming decadent treats to the delicious gourmet breakfasts, the absolute attention to every detail shows the passion and warmth they pour into ensuring that the guest experience is the best. Definitely a destination spot to enjoy being pampered in such a beautiful and cozy setting.

Stayed months ago - but review did not post? Would go back in a heartbeat! Do Not Hesitate to book this wonderful BnB !! BUT... only if you enjoy spoiling yourself !! Located just south of the St. Jo town-square you'll have immediate walking access to the quaint shops, St Jo Museum, and eateries. A quick drive puts you at a number of wineries. We took in Arche' (Arkay), Blue Ostrich, & 4R. We had a great experience at all 3. We never knew North Texas had it's own "hill country", very surprising to see the valleys and vistas and apparently aids well in producing many quality wines!! Brian and Carolyn really have a special property and have included so many special touches. The 3br and 2 bath property will no doubt be a great place for your special celebration or get-a-away!!! The outdoor area alone will immediately put you in relaxation mode - and they have plenty of comfy blankets for chilly morning or evenings! And, don't even get me started on their food!!! Oh - My - Goodness ... do they know how to delight the taste buds!!! And, they're very accommodating of dietary needs and preferences. Makes my mouth water just thinking of the sumptuous breakfasts they provided. Their "Frenchy" breakfast sandwich and pancake with fresh berries and almond mascarpone was the best breakfast I've ever had, Amazing !!! And, the breakfast burrito with avocado toast & pico - so fresh - so good - so... well, now I'm just hungry... 😉 Truly a wonderful experience and we can't thank Brian and Carolyn enough for sharing their property and their gracious and caring hospitality with us!! Stop searching and book here if it's available... you won't regret it !! ❤❤❤
