NillAt best it is 2 stars. Very run down accommodations..old and very basic. For the price I'd expect more. Kids play areas are a joke, spider webs all over broken play equipment. Looks like they picked it off a trash pile. Lots of rod noise. The first thing you see is owners "home" - junk everywhere. And they wanted to nickel and dime you if you show up an hour before checkin... ridiculous fees. The "decor" inside cabin is leftover garage sale junk. It's like they want to charge a premium price for run down shacks. Spend your money elsewhere! Additionally, the cabins are under an umbrella of " beavers bend cabins" they are individually owned and on email correspondence there is no PHYSICAL address for you to search or see on Google maps. That is intentional as if I had that info and saw this dump, I'd cancel. They have tourist rates but don't deliver a stellar place.

NillThe cabin is nice, but is not accurately described as shown in the pictures lead us to believe. We were in the Julia cabin. There is no glider/rocker in the bedroom, there was no adult outdoor swing behind the cabin, and no chairs spaced about the various fire pits and courtyard areas. Some of the heavy benches were available. The wood provided had moss and appearance of some rot. Inside our cabin, the dishwasher is ancient and broken and requires some finesse to use. Beware the bottom rack is missing a wheel and the door needs to be lifted in order to lock closed. The floor is warped around the dishwasher, indicative of leaks, and parts of the linoleum flooring is chipped. The window above the sink is broken and appears to have been broken for some time. No potholders for cooking, but a few kitchen towels available to double-up if you are using the oven. There is also a sugar ant problem. I understand these are outdoor cabins and to expect bugs and insects, but the cabin could benefit from regular pest control treatments. The WiFi is incredibly spotty, which is somewhat expected for outdoor cabins. The signal slows down significantly, but waiting for a movie to buffer is the new “bathroom break” time. All in all, the beds were comfortable, the water heater is fantastic, and the hot tub was fine. The back deck is uneven and only two of the four jets worked, but the temp was relaxing and enjoyable. I know it’s mid-summer and the height of tourist season, but $300(ish)/night I still would expect a higher level of maintenance and newer appliances when most of cabins are almost fully booked the entire month and we were in the economy cabin. It is a good cabin, my review is written in hopes that future guests are more prepared to enjoy their stay. Bring the proper equipment you may need in case the cabin you choose does not have what you need.
