★★★★I understand that the campground has been sold and is under new management. I am looking forward to the positive changes the new owners will make. The beach is beautiful with crystal clear water. The lots are wooded and the other campers are very friendly. I heard they are updating the cottages. Hopefully they plan to add some activities. I'm going to give them another try next season.

★★★★★My wife and I accidently discovered DunRoamin Campground in the fall of 2021 while traveling in our truck camper. What a great campground. Beautiful beach on Peter's Pond. We subsequently purchased a permanent seasonal 5th wheel and have spent the last 3 summers from April to October at DunRoamin. The sites are huge compared to other campgrounds. We have made terrific friends and the grandkids love the swimming raft and fishing at the pond. We love it here!

NillAwesome camping site. We are staying all summer 3 months and the price is great! We Arbnb our house for people to enjoy Cape cod. Very much quieter than Peter's pond. The owners are great. Pond is nice and quiet 😄.

★★★★If you are the type that likes to stay in state or national parks because of the peace and quiet they offer, then this campground is perfect for you. Secluded in a large wooded area on Peter's Pond, this campground offers full hook up sites that were easily accessible by my 36' motorhome. Totally surrounded by large trees you feel you are far away from the hustle and bustle of this popular vacation spot. Yet, all of the site of Cape Cod are still easily accessible. The quaint town of Sandwich is just minutes away. When you first turn down the road and into the campground, you may feel like you are lost, but you will soon be greeted by the smiles and friendly smiles of the owners. There is ample room to park your rig while you registered. The interior roads are mostly gravel and sand but are well maintained and provide ample turning room. They have full 50 amp hookups with water and sewer. There is access to their private beach on Peter's Pond where they provide various watercraft for guest use and a large swimming area. They readily tell you that they have no pool (who needs it with a lake), no restrooms or showers (not really needed for most of today's RV's) and no wifi (we carry our own hot spot). Considering the cost for staying here is half of the cost of the fancy RV resort next door, that's a small sacrifice for the peaceful setting.

★Paid to camp for the weekend and was able to stay one night before a very unpleasant, haggard old woman on a golf cart drove onto our campsite. “You don’t belong here, what makes you think you can camp here”, “get out of here before i call the cops”, and several other words were said to us. we didn’t want to argue or get the cops called on us since we just wanted a peaceful weekend during cape cod pride. we started packing up and less than 5 minutes later an old man on a golf cart came up to us, we told him we were already told to leave and he said “yes, i know, i’m here to take a picture of your license plate to give to the police.” Despite us having already agreed to leave (even after we PAID TO CAMP) this man thought us enough of a threat to come and take pictures of our license plate. we were quiet, respectful, and weren’t leaving trash or a mess. Extremely upsetting experience and i do not recommend staying here. unfriendly (possibly homophobic/transphobic?) people.

NillSpent many vacation weeks here over the past number of years. Ed & Jan, owners are friendly and very helpful. The pond, Peters Pond, big enough to be a lake, convenient to the camping spots, just a short walk down the hill. Mostly occupied with seasonal campers, but has room for others traveling, wanting a day or so rest up, as well as few weeks or more to enjoy the Cape experience. They provided ice cream on Sundays down on the beach for everybody. Raft, paddle boats, swimming. You won't be disappointed.

★★★★Really enjoyed this campgrounds. The sites were easy to pull my glamper through and they afforded each site wooded privacy. The owner and other campers/mobile homes were friendly and discreet. The grounds were well kept with recycle an trash access. Johns Pond is at the end of a beautiful trail from the campgrounds with a great beach and water toys for us to use. Would definitely stay there again!

★★My family and I rented 3 out of the 4 cottages for some family healing after losing our father. The staff was atrociously rude and micromanaged each of us. They consistently would be condescending to all of us. ||||Not to mention the place was filled with ants and boring wasps. Not very safe for the little children we had staying there. ||||I would NEVER return there, neither would any of my family. The cabin is terribly outdated. The only positive I have to say is that Peter’s Pond is beautiful. I highly recommend staying at the other cottages on the pond and not Dunroamin if you want a respectable and peaceful vacation.
