Cedar Springs RV Resort

We were looking for one night in the area of about 50 miles for a Saturday night. Thanks to Amanda we got a site and Sunday morning on our way south. Her and husband were very hospitable and helpful when backing in our large motorhome.

This was our second time camping there. The staff is extremely polite and ready to help. This is a perfect family get away. We had our Granddaughter and the kid friendly activities were Great! It also has activities for the child at heart! Our first stay they had karaoke and barrel rides. Our Granddaughter loved it, she's 5. Our second stay they had the barrel rides and live music and a pancake breakfast. They have an awesome play area and a very nice beach and swim area. The bath houses were clean and nice. We will definitely be taking another trip there. You will not be disappointed staying there.

This place is for older people, no other explanation. If you have kids and want to hold there hands 24/7 and not let them outta site well maybe that’s a place for you. It’s not a vacations spot. They kicked us out bc our kids played next to the “road” in a big puddles bc there campground floods if it rains, had Pam say it was an our first and only warning. My daughter went up the slide the wrong way a mom complained to the office and that’s was it we got kicked out. Didn’t make a fit over it nothing said okay we had two days to leave so we ate the 200 we paid in advance. Several staff members the day before we left called for a welfare check on my kids THEN called several times to cps. Had police then cps at my door the day before we left even tho we had been there over a month with no problems both the police and cps saw no problems. Guess they gotta cover themselves bc they had gentlemen drive everyone’s kids INCLUDING MINE… DRUNK and flying thru the park. They got fired but still live in the park. Would LOVE for the owner to contact me I’m sure they will leave some comment after this. I’m only writing this hoping I can hear from the actual owner of this park.

Those last 2 low reviews were sour grapes. Yes we have speed limits and quite times and no dogs on the beach. But camp ground have rules. I love Cedar Springs Resort, this has been our summer site for the last 4 or 5 years. We will come back as long as we are able. Laura and Steve do a great job. We will miss you this winter, Mike, Sue and Monkee

This was our fourth stay at the park and we can't wait to stay again. Laura in the office is very helpful and friendly and customer service oriented. Laura and Steve will do everything possible to make your stay perfect along with the rest of the staff. I highly r staying here, close to the highw, easily accessible sites. Close to restaurants and golf course. Friendships are made here

Our family camped there a few times this summer, but we won't be back. When we were at the beach with our dog a man who works here, Steve, came over to us and rudely stated we can't have dogs on the beach. We told him okay, we didn't see the sign, and proceeded to pick our 2 lb dog up to get ready to bring her back to the campsite. He then screamed at us about the dog again. We told him we are getting our things and he doesn't need to be so hostile and rude. He has NO customer service skills and NO manners. I told him we're leaving and to excuse himself multiple times as he aggressively continued to move closer to me making me feel very threatened. His name is Steve. He left FINALLY after I screamed at him that I wasn't talking to him anymore and then sent his wife, Laura, to come smooth it over. She told us they're burned out working here and kept stating, "we're good?" Like she was trying to convince us of it. We were going to stay another month to finish out the season here, but after this incident, we'll be bringing our camping elsewhere and WILL NEVER return. Do not go here!

We made last-minute Memorial Day weekend plans and were thrilled to be able to book two sites here. Not only that but they were full hookup! We've camped at state parks on Memorial Day weekend and have always found it to be a noisy, crowded experience. Not here! Even though the campground was pretty full, it was extremely quiet. No loud party people and everyone was friendly. All the facilities were nice. Our site backed up to the playground, which was small but lovely. The kids really enjoyed it. The beach was very clean. We brought an inflatable raft that the kids enjoyed taking out on the small lake. The owners also did some fun kids activities. Even though my kids chose not to take part, I thought it was nice that they offered train rides and organized a game of capture the flag. This campground is also in a great location. Our goal was to be close to the John Ball Zoo so we could attend an event there. This campground is only 20 minutes from the zoo. It's also just minutes from a Meijer and pretty much any fast food restaurant you could want. Overall, this was a better than expected experience and I'm sure we will be back in the future!

While this campground is very close to the highway, you really don’t notice the traffic much. Besides that noise, this campground was by far one of the most quiet campgrounds I’ve been to all summer! I live and travel in camper full time, so I’ve been to many places already this year! I enjoyed that at 930p on a Friday and Saturday there was no parties, or loud groups of people! Steve and Laura who run the grounds and office are amazing. You can see they both have a love and passion for this campground and work hard to keep it nice! The bathrooms were so clean, the sites mowed nicely, and all the fellow campers were so kind for my week long stay! Can’t wait to return. Oh, and the fishing is GREAT! 16+ inch bass!
