My wife and I recently camped at Leelanau pines, Lakeside camping resort. The facilities were clean, the staff were helpful. We stayed at campsite Y with full hook up with 30 amp service. The campsite was level and bigger than most of this state campgrounds campsites. We were able to watched the northern lights in the big field at the entrance of their campground. It was October bathrooms were clean and heated. They had two bathrooms, with plenty of toilets and urinals with two showers per bathroom and plenty of hot water. We stayed for five nights received a 30% discount one of the reasons why we decided to camp there for our annual fall color tour. We did three day trips and walked many of the trails, including some of them around the sleeping bear dunes. This campground is in a great location. I think 60% or more of the campsites had seasonal trailers on them. We recommended this campground to anyone who has a recreational vehicle and wants to camp in the Traverse City area.

Our family recently stayed at this campground and we couldn't have been more impressed. The facilities were impeccably clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, (especially Griffin and Samuel) and the location was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed peaceful nights under the stars, and our kids had a blast exploring the nearby trails and playgrounds. The amenities were top-notch, from the well-maintained bathrooms to the convenient campfire pits. We will definitely be returning next summer for another memorable adventure. Highly recommended for anyone looking to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort

Enjoyed our stay at Leelanau Pines. Campsite fit our 42' camper wonderfully, it had lots of big trees, a fire pit, and a picnic table. Our younger kids loved their organized bingo games, outdoor movie nights, and craft activities.

This is our 8th year camping here. We LOVE the campground. The staff is friendly, Lauren does an amazing job at everything. The wildlife is a favorite, baby ducks, birds, chipmunks. Love the new additions with the bounce pad and Pines Theatre! We were able to watch movies under the pines. Absolutely beautiful.

This place couldn't be more packed in. I call it sardine can camping. We camp a lot and have never been so crowded. Low limbs on the trees were hitting my camper roof when I backed in. The fire ring was the smallest I've ever seen. I mean tiny. The sites are extremely narrow. No room between campers at all. They've allowed the docks to be taken over by the seasonal HOA so the website says bring your boat but when you get there you will not be allowed on the docks. Period. Inconvenient to say the least. Wish I'd known before I got there. Only staff member I talked to was nice but that was about it. They claimed to have designated parking for truck/trailer but they are being misleading. There's no room for both, you have to disconnect from your trailer and park your truck next to it and walk back to your site. Our site barely had room for our vehicle and camper. Our guests brought our boat and had to leave their truck unattended across the campground. And the ramp needs lots of work. Perilous if you aren't very very careful. The bathrooms were mostly clean. The dump station is on the way in and you have to do a circle around the campground to get back to it and then another circle to get the heck out. I did not like this place and would never go back. At $135 night I expected a much nicer experience. Very disappointed.

We enjoyed our cabin very much!! They were so beautiful, affordable and the view was amazing! The cabins are spacious and have everything you need already stocked. The campground is very clean and well kept. We also enjoyed renting a pontoon boat. We will be back for the 4th of July, can't wait!!

Beautiful park on a gorgeous lake. It is serene and beautiful and so relaxing to kayak. Found so many morels, cooked dinner over the camp fire, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The cabin had everything we needed to have a great weekend without having to pack the entire house! What a great experience, and I can't wait to see how this park continues to grow with new amenities!

My honest review. Overall, the place offers a beautiful lake view, with friendly and helpful staff. However, there were issues with an oil substance on the road caused inconvenience to visitors. It would be beneficial for them to offer a discount or close the park temporarily if such issues arise to ensure a better experience for all. As a first time camper this was not a great experience. I had to come home and spend money and time to get this removed I would also recommend clearing a path to chess pieces there was many weeds.
