NillPerfect end of summer start of fall camp getaway! Close to trails, river, and downtown. Perfect for the family to unplug and reconnect to nature. The bath facility is by far the CLEANEST I've ever seen. The camp host is so nice and helpful. We will definitely come back again. Thanks for everything!

NillThis campground is a hidden gem. It's absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Clean and well kept. Very nice bathrooms with plenty of hot water and extra spaces and shelves for your amenities. The people that are running the campground, Mary and Carey, are the kindest and most helpful people. They're both so incredibly welcoming and really make you feel at home. All the other campers were super friendly and everyone just had a great time. I can't recommend this place enough. Stores and gas are close by, and you're on an old farm with lots of beautiful apple trees just at the edge of town in a pretty valley near the Paint River.

NillSuper cute campground. Nice mix of open, sunny spots and cozy, wooded spots. Multiple lovely little log cabins. Right by town but you wouldn't think it when you're camping there. Very peaceful. The access to tons of ORV trails was a huge plus also. Friendly owner. Would absolutely camp here again and recommend it to others.

NillThis charming, quaint campground is a gem. The country setting is peaceful and quiet with wildlife roaming the well maintained grounds. Its has FHU’s, cute cabins, and wooded tent sites. There’s access close by to the river trails and ATV trails can be accessed directly from the park. There’s a small downtown in walking distance with a few restaurants, shops, and a throwback, old fashioned theater hosting entertainment each weekend.

NillI was having repeated mechanical issues while exploring the UP in my RV and was pretty discouraged, and I am so grateful that the universe put Carey in my path. I stayed in a full hookup site until my camper could be worked on, and then I stayed in one of the cabins while the RV was in a garage. Both accommodations were perfect for my needs, and Carey was a very helpful resource and just a terrific human being. The campground was great--tidy grounds, clean bathrooms, and a nice riverside trail. But it was mostly Carey's kindness and friendliness that raised my spirits at a time when I needed it. Thank you!

NillThe man that runs this place is a gentle giant and one of the kindest people I've ever met. Our camper kept blowing the breakers as we were trying to hook up to power (it was our fault; not the campground's). It was late when we pulled in. After 8pm. Yet he still came out to check on us and when he saw the issue he ran home, got his generator, and hooked us up to it for the night. We are a crew of 2 woman and 3 kids traveling across the dang country and we were so tired. His kindness was so appreciated. This campsite is clean, beautiful and fabulous.

NillWonderful campground! The three of us were in town for some dispensaries and time up north. This campground is conveniently on the edge of town, so you get nature with the ease of access to Crystal Falls. There are critters galore, lots of turkeys and deer in camp. Trash bins by the bathrooms allow you to avoid said critters by throwing away your garbage easily. Bathrooms were very well kept and the showers were free and hot every time we used them. Trails connect you into town or on nice walks to the damn/local parks. We stayed in the cabins and were very impressed! They include an inside light and porch light, and three outlets, so you can charge devices and even have a fan running (it saved our life! the cabin stayed hot at night even when temps outside dropped.) It is apple season and the campground had many apple trees that were dropping fruit the entire weekend we were there. It was fun to snack on the apples and watch the deer eat them too. Cabins and sites are pretty close together, but all our neighbors were respectful. This is not the sort of campground that gets rowdy and loud at night. We felt safe the whole time we were there. Hosts were friendly and introduced themselves, and seemed to make rounds daily to check up/in on the entire property. :)
