Covered Wagon Camp Resort

Not fancy, but comfy and quiet. Close to town yet “country/outdoor” feel. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool , restrooms and laundry room available. Hubby up here working and one of very few still open during winter that he could find a spot to rest his head and call home. My only issue is the laundry facilities need a little work/updates; but available if need. Handy when yours broke and not available. Beautiful pond and play areas for the kids and family & Pet friendly!

This campground has been a while and almost every camper in the area has probably spent a weekend or 2 at least here. It's very basic and could use some TLC but the owners have been making steady progress to fix it up it seems. It's nice for a little weekend get away where you just want to sit by the fire and forget about the house. |Pros: Family friendly with playgrounds, pool, swimming pond, fishing, and plenty of room to run for the kids! Camp sites are decent sized and at certain times of the year there are events. |Cons: Needs upgrades, some mild expressway traffic noise, bathrooms need a lot more maintenance.

We've camped here a number of times, and we love it. There are activities for the kids in the pavilion, and they love swimming in the pond and the pool. Our dogs are welcome and the other campers are always friendly.

We are seasonal campers here. The camp is showing great improvement since we started 2 seasons ago. Still something’s need up dating and the should open the arcade again. I would like to see them stop letting non campers use the pool. And stop charging Seasonals to use the put put. All in all great place. Great people

Absolutely THE BEST CAMPGROUND WITHIN A 200 MILE RADIUS. Fenced in outdoor pool, pond, fishing. The staff is all family and it has been on the same family's name for 2 generations. It doesn't matter if one of the workers is off the clock and it 10pm at night they will help with whatever you could possibly need! Down home, old fashioned service THAT NO LONGER EXISTS except in a few rare instances such as this. 100% recommend! KOA has nothing on this place. Quiet, stress free destination if there ever was one.

Awesome experience! This camp has had multiple upgrades. The water does have a little sulfa residue but we just use gallons of water for ice and coffee. The pool looks clean and inviting. They have upgraded the playground. Our spot is small but surrounded by trees and the birds are chirping. The people are so friendly. My cat got out one night and there was probably 10 people trying to help me search for my cat. We travel around for work and this place is just as nice as some KOA’s. It’s pet friendly and so are the workers as well as the people here. They have a ton of activities for the kids. They had a hay ride, a train ride and a glow night with a DJ for July 4th. I don’t know the new owner at all but wanted everyone to know that he’s fixing the park up and it’s better in 2023!

We took a last minute camping trip this past weekend, the campground was clean, the staff was inviting and super friendly! The bathrooms were hot, but it’s camping! :) we enjoyed our stay! The pool was so clean and refreshing! All 4 boys had a blast! We enjoyed our stay! We needed a camper and tent site next to eachother to accommodate our party of 10 and they did! Wonderful place to go and visit! Will return again in the future!

Filthy bathrooms. Went to office to let them know bathrooms are filthy, toilet seats are loose. Two days later the same bugs are there and now women’s toilet is overflowing. The only thing the office says is I will contact management. Shower pressure is non-existent. You can pee harder!
