Barton Springs Campgrounds

I can’t say enough great things about this campground — especially the campground manager, Rick. He truly went above and beyond to help me out when I had an issue with my truck. It's rare to find someone so genuinely kind and willing to lend a hand, and Rick made a stressful situation so much easier.||The campground itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but the highlight for me was the shower house on the “island.” It’s spacious, spotless, and offers private shower rooms so you can enjoy some peace and comfort after a long day outdoors. Everything felt clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed.||My only complaint is that the campground needs a private dock or pier for boat parking. A lot of big rocks and trees in the water where they want you to tie off. ||Thanks again to Rick and the team for making this such a memorable and smooth stay. I’ll definitely be back!

We booked here because the campground across the lake had water issues and had closed temporarily. This place is very well kept, cleaned and maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a really nice view of the lake. We will be coming here again.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Unfortunately it rained two of the days I was there. The park was clean and it is a beautiful setting.

Great campground. Plenty of staff offering help if needed. The island sites are very nice and more shaded than the main campground.

I did not stay here, but the area looked rather nice. There were numerous families out on the water having fun there is also a nearby boat ramp that could be interesting.

I reserved Site 10 in April 2025. The view of Normandy was beautiful! Campgrounds were clean and well kept.

I made reservations on line,just terrible! The map showed all camp spots were almost full… I paid 10.00 dollars more to lock in the spot. Got there and hardly any spots were taken and never filled up!! The best part of our whole experience was Jessie the host, he is fantastic,he helped us to a better spot and was so helpful with us getting settled in. Also the lady at the gate house was so sweet in helping us too! We would have left, but those hosts are the best, we are retired and camp march thru nov or dec ,met a lot of camp hosts…but these hosts are at the very top of our list.
