This is the best campground I've ever been to. I love traveling around the country and camping with my family. It's an incredible experience, as we love nature. This RV park is a luxury: beautiful, clean, and has lots of things to do and have fun. The service is excellent, and they offer the best late check-in system for us travelers! Thank you for an incredible experience.

This is a very nice KOA. The park is well kept and offers a lot of amenities. The lazy river, pool, deck and common areas are very clean and very relaxing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The store offers a wide variety of items and even frozen drinks. The laundry room has plenty of washers and dryers. Within walking distance to the beach. The only negative to the location is that you are a far drive from stores and restaurants.

The park itself if very nice and clean, the pools weren’t too busy to get into but some of the workers that we talked to definitely weren’t the nicest when trying to talk too them. The office closes at 6 even though the paperwork and website say 7. The margaritas were good from the store.

We camped here with our Pop Up. The grounds are well kept, restrooms were clean, store is handy with lots of things you may need, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I actually had to call the after hours number for a loose electric plug(which they came right away to fix.) Also, we had a camper behind us who's dog was barking uncontrollably. The KOA worker came and made sure the dog wasn't left. There was also a Tamale vendor who came to the park and his food is delicious 😋 Overall a Great visit!!

What a fun and very memorable time we had at this KOA! All of the staff are beyond amazing. Lori at the front desk greeted us warmly and checked us in, her hubby Matt escorted us to our site and Marc Hollander who is the Director of Guest Services went way above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. But what we heard from speaking to our neighbors in the RV park, ALL guests are given these same courtesies. Marc and his wife Tammy are known for their gracious hospitality and the list of monthly activities they create to enhance the stay of their guests gurantees everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit. The heated pool and hot tub are open year round, and the "Lazy River" that snakes between the two is heated for your floating pleasure! 😁 The RV park covers a lot of ground so the sites are roomy and spread out, with grassy areas in between. The bathroom/shower facilities are sparkling clean and comfortable. The registration office is also a small store with supplies, gifts and even local Galveston craft beer. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay and can highly recommend Galveston Island KOA Holiday for your family vacation! 😀

Friendly staff at check-in. Led us to our sight to make sure we didn't have any issues. Got lucky and got a corner site. ||Plenty of room for the motor home and the car dolly. Able to park car on the pad along with everything else including the two e-bikes ||Nice breeze all day blowing in off the gulf. Other than the squawking of the sea gulls it's really quiet

Went for first time last week. Far exceeded my expectations. This is a corporate managed KOA, so they have guaranteed standards that a franchise might not have, and fall under corporate quality assurance, etc... so I will be seeking out KOAs for long term stays that fall under corporate from now on. Expect the following: 1) Immaculate property 2) A fully stocked store that does not price gouge you. Expect $3 for a bottle of shampoo, microwave meal, etc... No baby or adult incontinence supplies so bring those. 3) Fully staffed. When I stayed Marc said they were actually understaffed, but I always saw an employee walking around doing something or helping out at all times of the day. Too many companies want to cut staff to increase profit margin nowadays but I did not get that impression here. 4) Heated pool and lazy river for kids. Hot tub for adults. Awesome playground for kids to play into the night. 5) Events for adults and kids weather permitting. 6) 5-10 minute walk to beach, or zip over on ebikes in under a minute. No checkpoints or paid parking, just cross the road and go on public beach access 33 or 34. 7) Clean showers.

We've been coming here for several years. Although we've always had a great experience, I've never felt compelled to leave a review. The park has never looked better. The staff has really put in the extra work to focus on the the small details. The new office is spectacular. The layout is great and feels very modern now. The sites are very well kept and clean. We used a patio site for the first time. It was convenient to not have to travel with furniture and a grill. The fire pit was perfect for the cool nights We've been to several KOAs throughout the country. This one will always be special to us. I'm not sure the what criteria needs to be met to call this a resort but, it checks all the boxes for me. We'll be back for years to come.
