Brown Chicken Brown Cow Ranch

Michelle and Chad were so communicative about camping at their ranch. It was a great location, only 20 minutes from Enchanted Rock and close to downtown Llano (where superchargers are available). We got to meet their cows, but they kept to themselves. The porta-john was the cleanest porta potty we’ve ever used. We stayed at ‘Round the Old Oak Tree and moved our seats to stay in the shade. With the breeze and the sunset, it was beautiful.

Went on an RV camping trip here with my family. Michelle was super great at communicating all the details we needed to get settled in easily. We were greeted by her husband Chad who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and felt welcomed. He even helped get our RV parked and hooked up (we rented and weren't knowledgeable in anything RV). We also had my sister in tow who is 6yo and she had a great time running around the property and meeting the longhorns. Definitely family friendly and very welcoming owners! Need a getaway from Austin? It's only 90 minutes from the city and offers tent camping too. Within 25 min to both Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg.

Great camping spot! The host is super friendly. There are a lot of tent camping spots, we stayed in the RV spot with 30 amp hookups, water had great pressure. Rural acreage, porta potty, outdoor sink was very handy, and 4 long horns. We Will definitely be back!

We had a really nice time, got to see some of the longhorns in the morning. Our campsite was nice and secluded. Beautiful scenery and overall a nice campsite. We could hear a little bit of the road noise but that can't be helped. Happy we found this place 😁

We loved camping at Brown Chicken Brown Cow Ranch for 3 nights under the stars of Texas! Our spot, "tucked away" was quiet and peaceful. Couldn't see anyone else around, which is how we like it. Our first morning, we woke up to a huge Longhorn standing outside our RV window. You don't get that at an RV park! The hosts, Chad and Michelle are very attentive and great at communication. We would love to stay again if we're in the area of Enchanted Rock/Fredericksburg. Dry Camping at its best!

CAMP HERE. What an AMAZING experience. They have crafted the perfect campsites while still allowing the natural landscape of hill country to shine through. Michelle and Chad are the sweetest and most accommodating people and they maintain by far the CLEANEST port o’ john I’ve ever seen in my life. Thank you for making the eclipse and the entire experience there so wonderful and memorable. And again, if you get the chance CAMP HERE!

Amazing!!! My friends and I stayed the night near the top of the hill, rain hit us hard but the owners were accommodating and thoughtful and we didn’t have any problems after the storm passed. The longhorns were beautiful and super happy to have us as visitors. Bathroom was clean. Very friendly owners!!!
