NillThis is a great place for a short stay with your spouse, meeting with friends for a fishing trip, or even family reunions. My family & I have done each of these here over the last few years. They have nice clean cabins (variety of sizes), protected swim area for the family, and the most reasonably priced boat rentals on the lake. They have a boat ramp as well if you have your own. You will need to plan ahead as they typically stay booked and parking is often limited or tight. This place planted a seed that eventually brought my wife and I to relocate to Cedar Creek Lake from Fort Worth. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

NillAmazing little place! Cabins are older but charming, and VERY clean. Owners, Hugh and Charlotte are super sweet. We even rented a pontoon at a very fair price and it was super clean and so much fun. Upon entering we weren't sure, but trust me, it's a little piece of heaven. You won't regret staying!!!!

NillNice guy running the place but I think the other reviews are fake. This is a VERY small tent only campground in a back yard, there's only about six spots and I don't see an rv or camper even being able to get in there. The bathrooms are gross and the showers are basically unusable. So its 40 bucks for a partially shaded camp spot with power but basically no facilities.. I gave it 3 stars only because we caught fish and it was quiet.

NillHad a pleasant experience tenting for 3 nights. Everything went smoothly. The lake is nice and so is the nearby city of Athens, being full of attractions.

NillGreat views of the lake from the Upper Eagles Nest. You are 30 ft from the water. Very friendly and is family owned and operated. Plenty of places for fishing and swimming. Boat rentals are offered here too. We will be back!!

★★★★★This is a great lakefront campground. If you don't have a camper to bring they have rooms available to rent as well as a house to rent. We have been on a few occasions. Since we don't have an RV we have rented either the motel rooms or the Eagles Nest. Both have been clean, and comfortable. Perfect for a weekend at the lake. ||The motel rooms we like rent, we can join together with another family. This gives us one room with a kitchenette so we have a place to make coffee and cook breakfast before we head out on the lake for the day. Plenty of room and very clean. Each room has a shower. ||The 2nd floor Eagles Nest has a great view of the lake. Also very clean and everything we needed in the kitchen to be able to cook meals. Love to sit out on the balcony and drink coffee.||You will always see the owners out maintaining the grounds. They are great!||||There is a dock if you want to bring your boat. If you fish, they have a fish cleaning area. It is family friendly. The kids enjoy fishing on off the dock. They do have an ice machine where you can get bags of ice for your coolers. You just pay by the bag, it is a little more but it great to stop and fill up the cooler on the way to the boat,

★★★★★Rustic area, family run, great place! ||Their pricing is very competitive compared to other places we've rented.||The boat we rented was older but ran well and provided the fun we were looking for- good times!||We rented a tube to pull and brought three floats with us just to swim and hang around the lake with.
