NillThe camp was quiet, and clean, and that was nice, they brought you firewood in a cold cart and every single staff person was very nice! They’ve got clean bathrooms and showers, a pool and a playground, so if you’ve got young ones (we don’t) this would be a good place! Now for the bad. We stayed at plot a11, lots of shade, very pretty trees… but no grass… so it was very sandy, and it was also slanted about 25% and the only flat spot was pretty far away from the hookups, and sadly it was very close to the plot next to us (close enough to be obnoxious) and the guy and his family where hammered and loud…but the worst thing of all? The vent for the septic tank was right at the end of our plot. The smell was so bad that it stuck to the inside of my Jeep, our camper, and to our dogs….. We came into town for a wedding, and I spent about 100 dollars on deodorants to get the smell out of my Jeep and camper. The dogs get a bath, whatever, but I feel like maybe that shouldn’t be a plot, for 170 bucks we got to smell like a septic tank at my best friends wedding. If I wanted to smell like that, I’d of gone to work with pigs. Maybe it was just my plot that was bad and that ruined my experience there, but I feel that something should be said.

NillWe stayed one night at this private campground a few miles off of I94. It is rustic, with spaces situated among the trees. Although not paved, they were well drained, firm and my favorite, pretty level. Lots of space, and amenities like a pool that would be good for a family. The manager was friendly and escorted us to our pull through space with full hookups. Cash or checks only.

★Don’t believe the website. This place is terrible! And they charge way too much for the condition it’s in. Filthy bathrooms and showers. Disgusting boat launch and River. Game room is dark and smells like stale smoke. The advertised bar was closed and gated shut. The pool had no filtration.

NillWe got a camper just a couple of years ago, and have tried a handful of campgrounds in the area. On the surface this one wasn't anything special except having the outdoor pool. The playgrounds were ok(although they were assembling a brand new one when we were leaving) and the main building was not in the best shape. But the difference was the amount of hospitality and accomodations that were made for us from not only the owners but also everyone else that helps out there. We had a weekend planned and then we all ended up getting sick. We reached out to see what options there were and they were more than happy to move our weekend around to make it work with our schedule. And after we had gotten there, everyone was absolutely great to work with. I would recommend this campground to anyone who is looking for a great experience with some great people.

NillThe best thing I can say is that it was available when we needed a place to stay. The man that greeted us was friendly and helpful. However, we have been on the road for several weeks and have usually paid anywhere from $10 to $30 a night less for a much nicer space. No full hookups, and the site went downhill making it difficult to level. We had to stay by the road in what seemed to me like extra or overflow parking, which would have been fine for one night, but $60 was twice as much as what it was worth.

NillFirst time at Twin Springs. Had our annual family camping trip. We tent in the perfect spot for 11 people. 4 tents, 4 cars and a dog. Plenty of room, very private and rustic. Camp ground is under new ownership as the campground was neglected for many years. New owners are so kind, hard working and dedicated to get the campground back to life. Only flaw…there’s only one restroom location, the walk is kinda long, if you need to go…. Go downtown, Check out the town, plenty todo. Take a trip to Willow River, you won’t be disappointed. Happy Camping!

NillGreat pool, fishing pier, quiet, and great staff! We will definitely be going back!! Other fun things we did while camping there with 3 under 7: visited crystal cave (Spring Valley, Wi) and biked the red cedar trail (Downsville, Wi)

NillGreat campground! New owners are really doing a wonderful job. Completely family operated. We were initially worried about staying here based off the old reviews from previous owenership, disregard those, they are irrelevant now. We had a baseball tournament out there and had 6 families stay here. New Owners were very accommodating and the campground was in great shape. We all especially loved the classic 1960s bar and game room that is still mostly intact and preserved. Very cool blast from the past campground bar.
