Temperate Zone RV Park

Beautiful views. Shade trees. Most quiet park ever. Owners Vicki and James are wonderful, helpful people. If you seek peace and quiet with only 17 miles to Deming, this park is ideal!

The owner Vicki was super kind and helpful. The park is very primitive, yet forever views, and super quiet. So peaceful. Rockhound State Park is even nearby. It is a ways off the highway. Almost 20 miles and then 1 mile dirt road to the park. But doable with an RV. Definitely worth the distance though. Would definitely stay again. Do your own laundry room and clean restrooms. I’ll gravel, but with some mature trees.

Great rv park in a picturesque location. Friendly and accommodating owners, full facilities, pull thru, clean and well-maintained grounds and leveled. Many places to go hiking, there is a hill near by with petroglyphs. If you are fan of wild west must visit Shakespeare Ghost Town at one hour drive, where Billy the Kid grew up. At twenty five minutes you can visit City of Rocks, and at two hours drive the impressive Gila dwellings, and many historical places. A wonderful experience, will come back again!

Total hidden gem. Great RV park, clean and well maintained facilities, great sunset/sunrise views over the mountains, kind and accommodating owners. Close to City of Rocks state park with tons of room for pull through RVing and all the amenities you could need.

Good simple park. You get all the basics without the crowds! Inexpensive and clean. Park is all gravel. They drag a couple times a year and totally wipe out the new weeds. A tree between half the sites for some nice shade. Very quiet park and low-key guests. The owners are private but keep a sharp eye on the park. I've enjoyed staying here and living here seasonally too. I'd recommend this place to people NOT looking for a social scene.

A pleasant and quiet out-of-the way RV park. And just down the road from City of Rocks and two other state parks.Full facilities: electricity, water, sewer, bathrooms with shower, clubhouse. Owners were very gracious. When they found I was traveling alone during Christmas they invited me to stay and have Christmas dinner with them and a couple of the park full-timers.Highly recommended!

Temperate Zone RV Park is a small, family run Park. It is off the beaten path, quiet and comfortable. It's surrounded by a working ranch complete with cows, horses and Quail everywhere. The sites are roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate and nicely arranged. The owners are friendly and helpful. We spent several days here hiking in the surrounding State Parks and loved it! We will definitely be returning to Temperate Zone RV Park the next time we travel to New Mexico.

James and Vicki the owners are friendly, helpful, and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The park is located 1 3/4 miles down a gravel road, so little road noise. The park is well maintained, and has all the hookups you would want. We found it a convenient location to go in opposite directions for sites we wanted to see.
