4K River Ranch

Stayed in February 25' very nice full service, modern campground with several new cabins directly on the stream with mountain views. Main st of town is 1 mile away, we just traveled around on a side x side. Would be very pretty in spring and summer with fishing in the stocked pond

Very beautiful area. Great hosts. Beautiful cabin and setting. Enjoyed the real wood fireplace. Beautiful mountain town close. Would stay again!

Booked a 2 night stay for a couple months out and unfortunately had to cancel this due to work. Even 2 full months away from booking they kept 25% of the total cost of the stay. So 73$ for a place I did not stay and gave ample cancellation timing. It looked beautiful but based on this kind of fee policy I will not be rebooking in the future.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The grounds were well kept. Bathrooms and shower facilities were immaculate! All our fellow travelers were super nice. Saw some nice trout caught right out our door, and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, ducks, geese, and deer. We will definitely be coming back!

Not handicap accessible. Went many times and now cannot due to disability. Asked about ramps and paved paths and was told to go somewhere else. I don’t believe park is meeting handicap/disability rules stairs and gravel. No pavement. No ramps. Just because I am now disabled should not mean I cannot enjoy the outdoors. Shame on this place and the manger. Not only has he argued about military discounts he makes up rules that are not in any paperwork.

Great place to relax. We loved seeing deer walking through the ranch, the friendly ducks, the nightime bats, humming birds all day long and even the trout jumping out of the pond now and then. Great neighbors who respect the Quiet Times and stop and share stories throughout the day. The staff are friendly and helpful and work hard to keep the place nice. They also made great suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Many people were outstanding and we don't remember everybody's names, but here are a few: Todd, Marty, Bill, Sharon, Emma, Lisa and Tim. Thank you everyone for a great trip!

Visited Red River area for some off road fun. The scenery around 4K River Ranch is beautiful. We stayed in one of the "Condos" while friends camped in the RV section. The accommodations in the Condos were quite basic and tired, I wish we could have gotten in one to the newer cabins. There were so many rules that it felt a bit restrictive—almost like we were in North Korea. The staff was friendly, but overall, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

We have gone to the 4K river ranch the past couple years and always have a great time. Everyone is friendly to everyone and ends up becoming like a big giant community family. The best sites are the ones in between the pond and the river it's easy access to fishing for both. I would like to try the cabins and see how they are in the future. The pond is stocked with some good sized fish. If you have the right bait is very easy catching. The river is always fun for some fishing takes a little more skill and a great time. It's nice that they added the big Canopy it's nice to go under if it starts to rain and can fit a ton of people. It's also nice having the little bit of grass in that area to just hang out.
