RV hook ups, easy access, trees for shade. Men's and woman bathrooms and rustic shower. We pulled in late. It's on the Honor system, not really managed. It was what we needed, I'll bet it's beautiful in the summer. We visited on our way to Colorado for Thanksgiving. Came in late left early, didn't even find the money drop till the next morning. Price was right $25 a night.

It may not be big and fancy for the city slickers, but the owner was very kind to me. I will never forget it She was the only person and the lady who works at the liquor store. Hi

Great little spot to stop and camp if you need an overnight or a home base to explore the beautiful area. It is a bit outdated and in need of repairs on some sites but overall it's great. They only take cash $25. for full hookup. There's a drop box to put your payment in, self check. We stayed three night and we had a good nights sleep. It is right next to I25 but the road noise dies down by 10. There's also the train close by but we only heard it once and it only lasted about a minute. There's a bath house but I never went to look at it as I have a huge bathroom in my RV. We'll definitely be back, for the price and beautiful trees, it's worth it.

Perfect spot for a campground. It's in between Albuquerque and Denver. Needs some leveling, and trimming of trees, but you can't beat $25 a night for full hookups. It was hard to get someone to come to the door, but when she did she said to pick a site and then put $25 cash into an envelope into the box on the porch and we were set. It was quiet with our sleeping fan on, but their is a train nearby, and the highway. I might have heard noise from them once during the night. Will definitely remember this place.

I am a travel nurse, and was working in Springer. This RV park was perfect for us. Springer is a very small town and this park was very quiet. Perfect for someone whol works nights. We were in the very back of the park. We were able to get long term rates since my contract was for 3 months. |

No issues with this park - it met our needs. Very basic but cheap - $25/night for 30-amp. If you're passing through a staying a few nights & need a place to stay this will do. Mostly 30-amp sites with some 50-amp. Make sure to check water - even though all have it some may not work. Self check-in & no answer if you call the number. Also, no wi-fi or restrooms/showers. Sites are gravel & dirt. Could be messy if wet. A bit noisy at times from freeway traffic. Overall it met our needs.

We were on our way from Colorado to Albuquerque and Springer was the half way point. The campground was small and only had three other campers there. They would not take a reservation, but I called the day before as she recommended and they accommodated us. The roads and sites were tight for a big 36 foot Class A with a tow car but we managed. I think the manager's name was Mildred. She was wonderful and we chatted for almost an hour about life in general and her history in the area which was quite interesting!

It’s true what the reviews say about they don’t answer the phone. I think it’s a seasonal thing. I left two messages saying I was coming. I got here and saw the slot to put your money I read about, but the owner came out to greet me. She stated she didn’t answer or call back because she didn’t want to disappoint me that her bathrooms are closed and no water. She said you CAN get water in town. All I needed was 30 amp so I’m happy. $20! There’s one other person here. I heard one train, that seems to be done early evening. There’s a neighboring property with a barking dog but he must have gone to bed. It’s not award winning, but there’s trees abs electric, probably water in the warmer months. I’m happy I just showed up. You should too. Also, I’m a short bus RV and the owner doesn’t seem to mind what kind of rig or how old. There’s back up spaces and pull throughs.
