Western Skys RV Park

Stayed for a week and had no major issues. With the pass port America discount and you are self-contained, it was fine. If you don't need any amenities, you will be fine. We didn't have any problems with smell or flies. There is feed lots in the area, so it really is out of their control.

It's an older RV Park and needs upgrading. Quiet place, but noisy interstate. Host is nice.

The definition of a 1 star trailer park. It's extremely trashy. There are tractor trailers coming through constantly, you are right beside a high way and it feels like you're at a truck stop because it's so loud, the employees try to make you pay the whole night of the last day you are there (even though check out is at 11). The flies are horrendous, the water pressure doesn't exist (were only getting 20 PSI at its best) and the electrical boxes are leaning over and falling out of the ground.

Easy and cheap. Sooooo many flies. I absolutely can not stand flies, so to me, it was a nightmare of an experience. It was gross. I couldn't handle the flies. We just stayed overnight while on the road. If you want a discounted place for one night, then it may work for you, but we have stayed at $20+ sites before that I've enjoyed.

Fine if you don’t want to use any amenities. Sites were nice. Place is pretty old. No upgrades for long time. We’re told bathrooms going to be remodeled —no hand towels , no toilet paper. One sink had cold water and would not use any of Toilets— filthy would be an understatement . Used passport America and paid 20.00 if I would have had to pay their full price I would have been very upset.

I had a good experience and stayed 2 nights. Site was long enough for 53' and our car parked next too it. The site was good but the power pedestal cover was bent, but it did work well and had no issues. Staff friendly, good area to walk my 2 dogs. The RV park as a whole is run down and many look like they are permanent residents, which I don't mind because all of the people I interacted with were nice and friendly. The park is simple with few amenities, which is my style and at $22 per night was great. Nearby parks are $50 plus. Visited White Sands area and also the local hiking trails. Water pressure was 60psi. There is a dairy farm not too far as mentioned in the other reviews but only smelled it every so often while I stayed and also little traffic noise from the interstate. I was worried from the other reviews but this place is not that bad from my experience but I don't stay at RV parks for amenities and other things, I just want a place at a reasonable rate that is safe and this place fits that in my book.

Drive as fast as you can past this park. We spoke with Rosa 3 times trying to get a spot. She said she had to call us back. She had plenty of opportunities to tell us neither the toilets , showers or washing machines worked. We were traveling home from a winter stay in Arizona and wanted a shower and to do a load of laundry. The laundry room was flooded. None of the toilets or showers were operational. She told my husband she didn’t take Good Sams and charged us $44 plus tax. When I questioned her she said my husband was lied and he never asked about it. Yet there websites stars they have all 3 above mentioned amenities. The entire park is old and had lots of liter. When I asked her why she didn’t tell us the water was off or update their website she said “ if someone asks me about it I tell them”. Why would you ask if they say they have those amenities????
