This RV park has great spots that are nicely kept up. The location is excellent, very nice and quiet. There are awesome people here that answer your questions and help you with anything you need to know, but they are an RV park and not a hotel, so I gave four stars on that since I wasn't sure what they meant by service. They didn't come out and hook up the RV for us, but they do have people available to hire if you need that service, overall they are great folks and we have enjoyed the RV park.

Needed a place to park my travel trailer after moving for a new job. The staff was extremely accommodating when trying to get me a spot after calling at least 10 other places. While the other places I called were cheaper...the little bit extra I laid for staying here was well worth it. The facilities are in excellent shape and you will always see the employees around the park maintaining it and talking with residents. The communication was top notch. I have been here since a week after the snow and ice storm, and the park has been very good about notifying people here about things being repaired! If I needed another long term stay I would do anything to get a spot here again!

The Oaks: ||First and foremost I highly recommend this place. Jamie and Larry the owners of this RV Park are awesome hosts. I call Larry the hardest working man in Texas he is always doing something around the property. The sites are a good size and well maintained, the bath house has 4 individual private bathrooms with a shower. I didn’t use them everyday but the times I did use them they were immaculately clean. They also have a large pavilion with picnic tables, rocking chairs and grills. They have a laundromat with three washers and three dryers that worked well and were fairly priced. They hardpacked resurfaced the road on the front part of the property while we were staying there. You can pay for your site online if you want and it’s very simple and convenient. They also will text message you when you receive mail and packages. All this and you get to enjoy some nature, the property sits back a good ways off TX HWY 71 and you don’t get any road noise. |I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Jamie and Larry for doing it right.

We stayed at The Oaks when we first came to Texas, and stayed here a year or so. The park is generally very quiet and neighbors were great. The high school was not a problem for us, most of the time we couldn't hear a thing from over there. Even football season wasn't a big problem for us. The school was under rules to have events finished by a certain time and for the most part, were very good about that. The owners were very kind and accommodating. They were always out on the property working on it. Rental statements and other notices were hand delivered, which we really liked. There is no pool or amenities of that kind, but there is a laundry and a shower/bath facility that is very nice. We liked that the park feels very safe and secluded. It's worth the drive to either Bastrop or Austin to be out here in the country. If you are looking for a place that entertains you or your children, this is not the place. If you are looking for a place with tons of events and amenities, this is not the place. If you are looking for nice, well-kept, quiet and/or long term, a place to stay while working in the area and owners that are on the property and are wonderful, then this is definitely the place!

This place is quite for the most part. It does back up to Cedar Creek High Schools football field and track. Has a nice pool and covered area with picnic tables. Good place to stay full time.

I was a long-term tenant, from July 23, 2016, until March 31, 2018, and really enjoyed living here. I had long-term neighbors on one side of me, neighbors on my other side would come and go, and everyone was friendly. Jami and Larry, who live on-site, are wonderful owners! Being able to pay online and the text messages (for mail at the office or park alerts) were truly convenient. The park is set-back from Hwy 71, which give the tenants some privacy, quiet, clean, and well maintained. I highly recommend The Oaks RV Park!

We Stayed from July 13-17 at The Oaks. Cute campground. Appears that they are upgrading gradually. There seemed to be a sewage smell issue in back of the park, however, we were not staying in that part, so we only caught a hint of it while walking the dog. The facilities are nice, bathhouses nice and clean.Plenty of room on the site, and site parking was plentiful as we were visiting family and there was plenty of space for parking when we had company on site. There are no picnic tables on the sites, but has a really lovely picnic pavilion. Normally, I would've given 3 stars because of the picnic table, but here's the kick...The owners are so kind and amenable it makes it worth the stay in every way! They treated us as if we were their family from the jump. Very kind! Worth the stay in every way! I will be back.
