NillIt was our first time staying at the Rio Guadalupe Resort. We camped in the RV section of the resort during the Easter Weekend Here are just a few things I appreciated about the resort. Pros: 1. Bathrooms and showers were clean, functional, and the doors locked. 2. It is right on the Guadalupe River. It was extremely convenient for tubing and kayaking. 3. It was Easter and the staff did a Easter Egg hunt for the kids. Also, they had a small brunch after. I thought this was extremely nice. 4. There are not many public grills. We asked about the grills and they offer to bring us a small one. It was not fancy but got the job done. 5. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: One small con for me was the fees that is added to your bookings. The is a convince booking fee if you book online. Also, a fee to reserve a particular spot in the RV park for your RV. Be aware the cost of the resort is significantly more than booking at State or Federal Park. Overall great experience and I would suggest the resort to other friends.

NillWe have stayed at this resort for the last 3 years during the winter in a river front cabin. Their location on the Guadalupe River is amazing! I fly fish and this location is great for wading or with guides for float trips. This property now has a fly shop with everything you need to fly fish this river. The staff- from the staff in the office to the fly shop- are friendly and knowledgeable. Cabins are comfortable and have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. You can choose riverfront with a view from your deck or a poolside cabin. They also have multiple RV spots. I hope to continue staying every winter!

NillJust getting back from a 4-day stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Stayed in a 2-story cabin with 3 bedrooms. The cabin and property were well maintained. The fishing in the area is good and rented kayaks for a couple of hours. The fly shop on site is an added benefit. The fly shop had good prices being close to the river, a good selection of items, and the owner was knowledgeable and helpful.

NillWe had a great time this weekend at this charming vacation spot, and the whole family had so much fun kayaking on the river. Thank you Gabbie for getting us into a cabin so smoothly and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!

NillAfter a long day of driving around Canyon Lake, my friends and I could not find a swim spot. We stumbled across Rio Guadalupe resort, and even though we weren’t staying at the hotel, Debbie and her staff allowed us access to the river, which was a big relief. The hospitality was top notch. I would recommend anyone to stay here!

NillWe had our wedding here in the fall, on a beautiful November evening. The backdrop of the river and subtle lighting gave us a memory we will never forget and incredible photos. The cabins were perfect, each had a beautiful of the river as well. The staff were always available and helpful with every request. Additionally, we were back here for an event early spring and the experience was just as amazing. The staff was incredible and remembered us from the fall. I can not overstate how beautiful the river view is; especially at night. Additionally, the event hall has a beautiful deck with an amazing view of the river.

NillWe check in here every single year, and every year, Debbie helps us get settled and everything we need for a super fun day on the river. She is so sweet and knowledgeable of the river and the surrounding areas! We were just there last week and our driver who took us to our drop off location was the bomb! So helpful and kind! We will continue to keep going back to the Rio over and over again!

NillWe stayed here in our 38' 5th wheel RV. Lots of shade in the park, which makes a huge difference in the summer. They have alot of riverfront and we enjoyed a float. For a fee they took us up stream and we floated down to the park. It was so relaxing! Everyone who works here is very friendly. We can't wait to come back.
