Stayed in the McGuire Lake House 293 Main Street. Weather was perfect for a couple of days to enjoy the gorgeous back yard, basketball court, and lovely screened porch. This is a well-appointed historic home with gorgeous woodwork. Close to the Inns of Aurora. Jacci & Virgil are simply the BEST hosts.

16 Cherry Street was perfect for our family during our son’s wedding. The house is super clean and provides everything you need for a weekend or week. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. There was dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, and shampoo and body wash. Garbage bags were provided as well as some ziploc bags, foil, Saran Wrap, and cooking oils. There were even several coffees and teas to choose from. We didn’t need to go to the store for a single thing. Brought in a sub tray and some breakfast foods and we were good for the weekend. The host met us upon arrival and acclimated us to the home and the area. Perfect stay for a perfect weekend. Thank you!

Our family, for the second year in a row, had the most wonderful stay at your lake home. The accommodations were spotless, towels and chairs provided, exceptional service from Jacci before, during and after our stay.....and the absolute best location. We enjoyed walking to the Inn for coffee and treats, the huge backyard for the kids to enjoy the swings, volleyball and basketball, and of course the lake as the most beautiful backdrop for everything!

Our Mainstay experience was absolutely perfect! A group of us visited for a friend’s wedding and the house and apartment unit attached were within walking distance to everything we needed. Jacci greeted us with a warm welcome and was very thorough in her instructions and responsive leading up to our stay. The house was so charming and each room was unique. The beds were super comfortable. Our favorite part was the patio! Thank you Jacci for a wonderful stay!

The “Heck-of-a-Deck” lake house was lovely and exquisite! There are so many amenities and nice features - the owners have thought of everything you could possibly want in a lake house rental! The space is fabulous, the location is awesome (right on Cayuga Lake), and the owners are beyond considerate! We loved it so much that we booked another stay there for next year!

We stayed for 3 months in one of the houses (432 Main Street Aurora). We had a wonderful time. The house is very well appointed and really nicely decorated. It is very close to the lake, you can just cross over and there are a number of direct access paths to the lake across. The village amenities are also walking distance - the cool village shop, the pub and one of the best restaurants in the area. At the back there is direct access to a public playground, which was great for our daughter. Jacci and Virgil are wonderful hosts, and went much beyond what one could expect from hosts. So many little attentions, and always responsive. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

For a third summer, we had a family reunion in Aurora, hosted by Aurora Mainstays. This year we rented 366 Main St., a beautifully renovated house with great common areas, an upscale kitchen, and convenient location next to the library. All winter I'll dream of that porch swing, where I spent many happy hours rocking with the children. Thank you, Jacci and Vern!

We enjoyed our weekend in Aurora in the 434 Main St. Apartment. Jacci is easy to work with and very nice. The apartment was clean and beautifully furnished; kitchen stocked with the basics and more. Highly recommend!
