Finch Guest House

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Finch Guest House this summer. Christine was a welcoming and gracious host and she took extra steps to ensure our comfort. She also recommended several restaurants and places to visit--it was great to have her local knowledge during our stay. We spent 3 nights with Christine and absolutely loved the location and the tranquility of Finch Guest House. We wanted to see the Baseball Hall of Fame and also take in a river rafting trip and both were an easy drive. Christine also recommended we check out Saratoga Springs, which we hadn't considered. What a lovely town! There is wonderful visitor center there with tour information--including walking architectural tours you can do on your own. Next time we will certainly visit the gorgeous racetrack as well. Finally, after a long day of sightseeing, it was so nice to return to the quiet of Finch Guest House and relax by the pool. If you enjoy the Bed and Breakfast experience and getting to know local residents, we highly recommend Finch Guest House!

We stayed for three nights. The room was lovely and Christine was a wonderful host. It was convenient to Lapland, where we went XC skiing. We hope to come again next winter. We had a great trip.

Was in town for a Wedding over the weekend and stayed at the Finch House. What a wonderful place! Christine was amazing! Very accommodating and personable! My Sister and I Just loved that it took us back in time. Just beautifully decorated and very well maintained. Location was close to the wedding venue and other dining locations. Would absolutely recommend to others and I would absolutely stay here in the future!!

I have only positive things to say about the Finch Guest House. The house has a stately feel about it, and the grounds are quiet and relaxing. My standard room was very clean and comfortable. The shower and bed - two very important things for a restful night's stay - were both excellent. The owner is very nice and welcoming, and had extra fruit and pastries on the table for breakfast.

My sisters and I totally enjoyed our overnight at the Finch House. Christine was a lovely host. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. It was a perfect, quiet setting after a long drive and a busy day. The continental breakfast was more than adequate. I would highly recommend the Finch House.

Christine's place was immaculate and she was so welcoming and very quick with her communication The room was spacious and the bedding and towels were perfect. She had many simple breakfast choices and we enjoyed eating outside on her beautiful piece of property. It was a very affordable accommodation that provided everything we needed.

We recently stayed at Finch Guest House and had just the weekend we were looking for. If you are looking for excitement, go somewhere else. If you want a relaxing break from it all, come to Finch House. Christine is a warm, inviting host who anticipates your every need, even before you know you have that need! We wanted for nothing. The breakfasts are yummy, accommodations are lovely, and there are lots of areas to sit and read or play a game. Christine makes you feel welcome every step of the way! Highly recommend for a quiet get-away.
