Great Gorge Guesthouse

We visited Niagara Falls in late July/early August and spent 3 nights at the Great Gorge Guesthouse. It was the perfect size and location for our vacation (4 adults and two 4 year old children). It is literally across the street from the aquarium and every morning the kids visited the seals in their outdoor pool. We definitely walked to the falls from the house but the little legs needed a scooter and a stroller. You can also ride the trolley from the Niagara Discovery Center, which is a much shorter walk just over the bridge. It is very convenient to downtown and the strip of restaurants on 3rd street. If you walk in the opposite direction of the aquarium, you will find yourself in a city-like atmosphere. Since all the attractions are in the opposite direction, we only noticed it on the drive to the house. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the owners were very responsive to any questions or requests that we had. For a family vacation, you can't beat the location and convenience of this property.

Great house to stay in. It's walking distance from all the American side activities at the falls. Literally across the street from the Aquarium
