The hotel is ridiculously bad. The back of the building is a homeless shelter space, people fight. I arrive at 7:30pm at the train station. The phone never goes through. And waiting in the cold to be picked up for 40mins. Upon arrival the managing is messy, waiting for another hour to be checked in. And the room is messy, bed is not made, and service was awful and they even could not find a room that is ready.

BED BUGS! 03/01/2025 BED BUGS! Huge amount of homeless and crackheads here. Do not recommend to anyone. Do not stay here. No breakfast severed, no heat in rooms. Took over an hour to check in and had to be moved because room was missing stuff.

Stayed here a few times. One thing that is consistent is the lack of pride the housekeeping staff have in their work. You're not going to get the cleanest room in town. You're also not going to get the best continental breakfast, atmosphere, or service. What was consistent is the comfort of the beds in each room I have been given, the friendliness of the staff, and the lowest price in Anchorage. I know some people look for more but those last three are why I keep returning. And the location is pretty great. Yes, there are problems here... I would say noise is the biggest. From the traffic, 'campers' tented up out back, and extremely heaving doors slamming shut, it can be frustrating. Also the inconsistency of the televisions in each room I stayed in. On two separate visits my first 30-45 minutes in the room was spent figuring out how to operate the television. Picked up the phone in each room for help and they didn't work either. Once I did get the TV working I could barely hear it over the portable HVAC units. The place definitely needs an upgrade and Wyndham should be ashamed for turning a blind eye to the problems. All that said, I would stay here again. Even if you choose not to based on my review.

Absolutely disgusting. My reservation was made based on the advertised amenities, several of which were either nonexistent or misrepresented: * Free Breakfast: The advertised free breakfast was not provided. This was a significant inconvenience, especially given my demanding work schedule. * Fitness Center: The fitness center was not only inadequate but also dangerous and unsanitary. Dirty, inoperable and unsafe equipment prevented me from even thinking about using the facility for any type of workout. It was unusable in its condition. I was forced to spend more money to use a rideshare service to Planet Fitness. * Central Heating: Contrary to what was advertised, there was no central heating. The only source of heat was a small, inadequate space heater, which was insufficient to properly heat the room and poses a potential fire hazard. * Shuttle Service: The advertised shuttle service was not available. I arrived at ANC and called to rrquest it. The employee I spoke to stated he would call his shuttle driver, have them call me, and arrange the meet for pickup. After waiting for 10 minutes in the cold, I made a rideshare reservation. This forced me to incur additional expenses for transportation, further adding to my frustration. When my rideshare arrived, I called the hotel back. Only then did the employee state that he was unable to reach his driver. * "Views of the Gorgeous Alaskan Landscape": The promise of "views of the gorgeous Alaskan landscape" was a cruel joke. My room overlooked a massive homeless encampment, a far cry from the scenic vistas depicted in your advertising. I DID complain to the guy at the counter and he didn't understand a word I was saying. I am filing a complaint with the city to address the unsanitary and unsafe conditions at this cesspool of a motel.

Booking.com app says breakfast is included at this hotel. Breakfast is not included. Someone came in and turned off the lights in the exercise room while I was working out. Also no wipes in here to clean equipment after use. Faucets are piped backwards, so if you think hot is on the left, you’re mistaken. Some of the towels still had visible stains on them. Bathroom fan is a passive vent, not powered. TV remote can turn the TV on and off, and nothing else.

I checked into my room, went to my room, put my bag down, and went to the bathroom, closing the door behind me. When I turned around to exit the bathroom, i discovered the door knob was broken off and replaced with a razor. Management and owners don't seem to be taking this matter seriously. Does anybody know a good lawyer?

The motel itself is a basic cheap lodging; nice for an overnight stay or if you have an early flight the next morning and want to be downtown (it is walking distance to the main downtown attractions). It's a little dated and the cleanliness isn't top notch, but again, it's just a motel. The main downside is that the area is a rather seedy location; with homeless individuals wandering around, and a camp nearby. Definitely don't leave anything valuable in your car!

Stayed here one night . The price is great if you are looking for a cheap place to stay for one night then this is it. Don’t expect much the homeless are literally camped out the back of the building and approached us on arrival . The hotel is locked and you need a key card but when there is a will there is a way so don’t trust your safety to a key card. The rooms are decent not too bad we checked around and it’s a bit dusty in the corners and under the bed but everything else was decently clean nothing extraordinary . Lock your vehicle and do not leave anything of value in it. We couldn’t get out fast enough the next morning .
