SpringHill Suites Fairbanks

We stayed here 2 nights while in AK. The location is nice, as you can walk many places and good food is within a couple blocks. Cathy was simply amazing and friendly each time we interacted! The rooms were clean and fairly large with good views. The onsite restaurant was delicious! Lastly, the only complaint we have is that they ran out of breakfast completely our first morning. No coffee, no juice, and no food in sight so we had to Door Dash, unfortunately. Otherwise, very good stay!

Stayed at Spring Hill Suites for 5 days to see the Aurora Borealis. The hotel shuttle picked us up early at 2 am. The check-in was easy, and our room was located on the 6th floor. The room is spacious with a good size shower/tub. There's plenty of towels and toiletries. Breakfast is served at 6:30 to 9 am. on weekdays. There's ample variety to choose from, such as eggs,bacon, oatmeal, and bread, but it doesn't vary much every day. The hotel is located near an ice museum and restaurants in the city. There's also Lavelle's Bistro attached to the hotel that opens later in the afternoon at 4:30. The staff are kind and helpful. And willing to assist you with anything you need. The only thing I noticed is the thin walls, and you can hear your neighbor flushing their toilet. We're satisfied with our stay as it provides us what we needed.

Had the most amazing stay at SpringHill Suites in Fairbanks. Unfortunately it was only for one night - we would have loved to stay for weeks as the staff are just so friendly and professional. After a very bad stay for 3 nights at Chena Hot Springs resort where all the staff seemed very unhappy, arriving at SpringHill Suites and being welcomed by friendly staff who are clearly proud of where they work was such a relief. The rooms are great. Super clean, very modern and look recently refurbished. The free breakfast was also excellent quality. They run a free shuttle to the airport and train station if you need with the friendliest drivers. Cannot recommend SpringHill Suites highly enough!

Warm and comfortable rooms to get you out of the cold. There are also perfectly cooked delicious New York steaks, tomato bisque soup, and asparagus downstairs at Lavelle's. The restaurant has an open kitchen in front of the building so you can see the magic happening as your food is prepared.

I had an excellent experience during my stay at Fairbanks. The service was exceptional, and the attention to detail truly enhanced my visit. I deeply appreciate the warm hospitality and effort put into making my stay so comfortable. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and memorable environment!

Great location and service |We stayed here for 5 nights and loved the breakfast...lots of options! They added items on the weekend so we always had lots of choices. We used the hot tub( not too hot) and the pool( cool but good after the hot tub). |Leslie at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We liked having tables in the lobby/ breakfast area that we could use for our card games. The rooms were a good size and I like having a desk/ work area. The fan blew cold air all the time but the room was warm! We put a damp towel over the fan to help keep some humidity in the room. |The location is downtown Fairbanks and we could walk to restaurants and the Arctic Treasures was a great souvenir store across the street!

We were absolutely delighted with our two-part stay at this hotel. The room was perfect, the breakfast was delicious and abundant, the location can't be better. And all the staff were exceptional. | -- The desk staff was helpful and friendly (at all hours).| -- The people who set up breakfast every day made sure everything was fully stocked at opening time, and they restocked throughout the morning.| -- The shuttle drivers were always on time, and they twice were accommodating of our schedule.||A real plus was having washers/dryers on-site. I didn't have to search all over town for a laundromat!||Because our stay was before-and-after another excursion, the hotel gladly stored our excess luggage for a week.||And the on-site restaurant Lavalle's was the best within walking distance in downtown. In addition to having a great choice of delicious food!||I looked at some of the other recent reviews posted here and, truly, we had none of the issues other people did.

Loved staying here. The girls at the front desk helped me out with an anniversary card and gift bag and tissue papers and even went as far as a surprise delivery to my husband whilst we had dinner in the restaurant. The locals were also friendly. Lots of places closed due to the season and the weather, but we still had a good time. The park across the road was stunning with the snow. We travelled from Australia so very different from anywhere back home.
