Klawock River Inn

These rooms are great! They look brand new. Very comfy and homey. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd be happy to come back!

Rooms are updated, clean and quiet. WiFi was adequate since we had no cell reception on the island (Verizon). Great location for Grocery store and food in Klowack and other services in Craig. Hemlock and Spruce are a bit small and around the back. But when it is raining you are glad for warm, dry and comfortable.

I stayed here for work, mostly because no other place was open. However, I can see the appeal for short visits. It was newly renovated with updated furnishing. I stayed in one of the front rooms with two full/queen beds, a sitting area with two chairs, a fridge, and a microwave. The cable/tv was adequate. Housekeeping stopped by daily and made the bed and changed out any towels I had used the day prior. I give them 4 stars for two reasons. The mattress was cheap but firm and the wifi was slow and intolerable. One evening I was the only one there and I was unable to use the wifi at all. It was so slow as if used by all the people around it. The wifi password was well posted and the word may have gotten around to its neighbors. Otherwise, a reasonable place for short visits.

I stayed at Klawock River Inn (Cedar Room) for a couple of nights. I had a great experience of enjoying quiet and comfortable place which included all amenities I needed. Awesome host! I felt welcomed! Thank you very much!

Staying in Klawock came with low expectations, but I was delighted by this Inn. My one night stay in the Cedar Room was relaxing. Clean, modern with a hot shower. Bed was comfy.

Very quaint, well equipped room with a great view of the lake across the street. Check in process was smooth as well. Coffee pot, fridge, and microwave included.

Great location in a quiet SE Alaska community. Clean, comfortable, and charming room.

Great views and walking distance to store. Also, staff is very cordial and rooms are always very clean.
