Delta Hotels Phoenix Mesa

Pretty standard hotel with great pool area. Beds are nice and comfortable and most of the staff is lovely. I loved seeing that they acknowledged Autism Awareness while I was there. My only complaints are that I went to happy hour 3 days of my visit and although I ordered the same drink each time, my total was completely different each time. I brought it up to the bar but he had no explanation, took my receipt from previous visits and just went about his day. He wasn’t rude but he was short and didn’t provide any explanation. As well as they could clean the hallways a bit better as there was lots of crumbs and dirt laid out each time I left my room. Breakfast was pretty standard for most hotels, continental but with a price. Maybe skip it and find breakfast somewhere else.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My party and I arrived at the Delta Marriott in Mesa expecting a smooth check-in, but instead, we were met with complete incompetence and blatant rudeness from the front desk staff—specifically Sarah. She had our reservation dates wrong and blamed "system issues," which, according to two people in my group who had stayed here before, is a recurring problem at this hotel. Rather than resolving the issue professionally, Sarah decided to get an attitude with all four of us. She was dismissive, rude, and completely unhelpful. Things escalated when she actually suggested that we stay somewhere else—at 9:30 PM, when we were all from out of state. Then, without reason, she told us our reservation had been canceled, effectively leaving us stranded. No one in my group was rude or disrespectful at any point, so there was absolutely no justification for the way we were treated. The fact that an employee like Sarah is allowed to interact with guests is a direct reflection of poor management. If this is the level of customer service this hotel deems acceptable, I strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere. Avoid this hotel at all costs. There are plenty of other options in the area where you won’t be disrespected and displaced in the middle of the night.

Second time staying at this hotel for conferences and each time it’s been a great place to go to. The staff is amazing and super helpful. Rooms are standard. The place is big and walking around is easy and fun. Place has a nice restaurant and good food as well. Sitting outside by the water fountain with palm trees is so relaxing while enjoying a drink can be so therapeutic

Positive: I enjoyed the area and the location of the hotel. The bed was comfy and the A/C was quiet. We will definitely look to stay at Delta again if the need arises. Negative: Just disappointing there wasn't a continental breakfast or we were not told about the breakfast options when we checked in. We didn't know a buffet was an option until we were walking out to our car after checking out. Better communication.

Had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! Sarah helped us check in and she was so friendly and quick, we were in and out of the lobby in less than 2 mins. Room was very nice and clean and had a good view, probably one of the comfiest hotel beds I’ve slept in. Sheets could have been bleached better but it was still overall quite clean. Will definitely be back here when I visit Phoenix again.

Arrived at this property after 16 hours of travel and experienced a great check in. We were happy to find an extremely comfortable bed and well appointed room. Had breakfast at the restaurant on site this morning. The service was welcoming and friendly. Our hostess Evelin went all out to make sure our needs were met. She is absolutely the best. The coffee was fresh and the buffet was wonderful. Highly recommend this property.

Please was nice for our family of five for the night. Room was clean and they enjoyed the pool. Staff was friendly. The woman at the coffee shop in the morning completed the person in front of me drinks odder and then looked at her receipt and rolled her eyes and said "hmmmmm" because there wasn't a tip. Thought that was pretty tacky as the woman in front of me put cat in the tip jar instead. The top lock on the pool door is overboard. how do you get in if you are holding things and scan your card and then need to upped the top lock. Also make sure you have your key card with you or the elevator won't work. For he most part not bad at all. No Complimentary anything but decent.

Positive: Room was comfortable. Pool/hot tub was much bigger/nicer than expected and clean. Lots of outside areas to sit and hange out. Staff was helpful and friendly. Negative: Listing said the room has a fridge, but it's not a mini fridge, it's much smaller. You can't get much more than a few drinks inside. Stains on the carpet. Gym smelled terrible, like it needed cleaned badly.
