Hampton Inn by Hilton Calexico

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities I could need. The bed was super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The hotel’s location was perfect, with easy access to fast food restaurants , which made exploring the city a breeze. I also took advantage of the hotel’s [pool, gym, spa, etc.], which were top-notch. Overall, my stay was a memorable one, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!

Worst Hampton Inn we've ever been to. As soon as you enter the lobby there's a horrible smell, the hotels hallway and doors to the rooms were dirty, the elevator was filthy. This is a very rundown hotel supposedly it is not old.... our room... the bathroom was dirty and there was dirty wet rag in the shower!!! The floor looked dirty. At least it was only a night. But we will never again stay here. Just wanted the night to be over to leave 😞 whenever I have to come to Calexico I will just stay in El Centro.

Advertise they have jacuzzi but you get there and then give you an excuse it hasn't been "inspected".... not acceptable for a so- called "quality" hotel. Tv didn't work in 2 rooms. Closet had no bar or hangers...looks like they weren't ready to be open for business yet! .... apparently management is not doing their job well.

The worst hotel stay I have had in years! The hotel is being renovated inside and out. They should have reduced rates but charged us $219.00 for one night plus a $50 deposit. I checked with the credit card company but the deposit had not been credited by the time I got home about 6 hours later. The clerk told me the credit was being returned while I was at the front desk getting the receipt. My wife and I checked in about 1:30 PM on a Friday but we couldn't get in the room because the carpet was drying. We left our luggage with the desk clerk and went on to do our business in Mexicali. About 6:30 PM we returned, retrieved our luggage and went to the room. The door was wide open and an industrial fan was sitting on the carpet. I took it back to the front desk and verified that the key cards worked. We crashed about 7:00 PM due to a long drive and busy day. The next morning we got up about 6:00 AM, got dressed and hurried to the breakfast room expecting to get fueled for the return drive. The room was locked. The front desk clerk said they weren't serving breakfast but they could offer us coffee and fruit or croissants or cold cereal. This should have been mentioned at check in. Not at all what we were expecting and there was no place to sit down. If we went back to the room there were two desks but only one chair which we found in the bathroom when we got to the room the night before. If you sit in the chair at a desk there is not space for someone to pass between the chair and the bed. Disgusted we left and had to pay for breakfast at a nearby Denny's. I will never stay at this place again! You can get a better room in San Diego for about $150 with an excellent breakfast. Why this backwater border town charges what they do I don't understand.

We were lied to about construction going on.|Construction workers their working early waking us up with their tools, loud conversations and music. Also, we did not have electricity and hot water.|It was a terrible experience!|We requested a refund to no avail. Beware of their lies!

Room was clean front desk very helpful 👌Enjoyed my stay, staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast items were good and the coffee was excellent. I would definitely stay there again. Parking was good perfect for my work truck. Restaurants in walking distance👍
