Inn at Morro Bay

From the time we arrived and viewed the wonderful property To dinner at the amazing restaurant at sunset, served by Alana. Excellent food and service and a good portion! We checked in with Krista who was friendly and helpful. Our room was overlooking the bay and was clean and renovated and had an comfortable soft bed! We checked out at 11 o'clock and did not hear any noise. We took a walk toward the bird sanctuary and sat for a while right on the beach.This location is close to everything. It is a quiet hidden gem away from town! We will be back!

My wife and I have stayed here numerous times. The service is excellent, especially the front desk (Lauren was fabulous). A standout feature is the pet-friendly policy, allowing us to bring our dogs along, enhancing our experience in the quiet bay location. Nearby hiking and biking trails offer great opportunities for nature enthusiasts (and a golf course across the road). We also love the incredible sunset views of the bay from the restaurant and terrace, providing a serene backdrop. While the facility shows signs of weathering on the outside, it is clean and well-kept. The rooms are satisfactory—though not luxurious—they serve their purpose well. Our dogs love it (including the treats on the reception desk) . Overall, this establishment is a favored retreat due to its welcoming atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

Love this place! Great room looking at the bay. Gorgeous view from the dining room. Tasty fettuccine for dinner. The jacuzzi was lovely even in March. Really glad we found this place.

This "Pet Friendly" Hotel is set in the Most Beautiful Surroundings||Wooded on one side and Bay on the other||We had a Large Beautifully Decorated Sunshiney Room with a Fireplace facing the Bay - Stunning - You can even bring your pup to the restaurant there. The town is darling! ||If you love Lamps - You will find unique recycled and revamped and repurposed items made into Lamps designed by John at his shop that he shares with his wife in town called "Out of the Dark" 334 Morro bay blvd

Pluses: The views are lovely from the main building. The showers have good pressure. The rooms leave a bit to be desired. ||Minuses: The mattresses were uncomfortably soft. No cups were provided for use with Kerig in room, only plastic water cups. The patio has no furniture to site on so you can only stand there.

The hot pool was amazing! We didn’t expect it to be warm after such a rainy day, but it was the perfect surprise. After a long, wet day, stepping into the warm water felt incredibly soothing. The contrast between the cool air and the steaming pool made the experience even more special.

Rooms were very average, but it was appreciated that it was dog friendly. Hot tub was "out of order" when we were there which was a major bummer as that was some of the draw for out two night get away. All that to say, the location and views are amazing. Worth it if you can stomach a below average hotel stay with amazing views.

Beautiful view, could have been amazing room but it disappointing due to run down appearance of room. TLC required ASAP . Property is great location for views, walks. Near golf course & cute town. Loved local shops garden gallery, eat early otherwise food options limited late night.
