Had a nice stay. The rooms looked like the photos, the staff was pleasant. No issues except that we had to double park and block a guest's car. This was what the front desk staff told us to do. Unfortunately, that guest had an early exit and the hotel staff woke us up at 5 am, to move our car which messed with our sleep. Couldn't go back to bed after that.

DISGUSTING! LEFT IMMEDIATELY! It took me about 5 minutes of being on the property to realize that it was a complete mistake to book a stay. We were looking for something on the cheaper side of things downtown. But after this, I will be spending money on an actual hotel. I walked in, took one look, and RAN back to the lobby (which smelt HORRIBLE, I developed raging headache immediately) This place is BEYOND appalling Now for the horror show of a room I was shown: 1. Broken Lock – Yep, the lock on the door was straight-up broken. That’s real comforting, knowing anyone could just waltz right in. 2. Attempted Break-In – Oh, and someone had obviously already tried breaking into the window. It looked like something straight out of a crime scene. Unsafe doesn’t even begin to describe it. 3. CLUMPS of hair on the bed – I don’t know who cleaned (or didn’t clean), but I found clumps of hair ON THE BED. Absolutely revolting. No way was I even going to sit on that thing. 4. Homeless People Doing God-Knows-What – As if things couldn’t get worse, right outside our room on the first floor there were homeless people literally doing inappropriate, dirty things right in plain sight. The whole area is a dump! I couldn’t get back to the lobby fast enough to cancel everything. Except they didn't even give us a refund when we weren't even there for 5 minutes. This place is an absolute joke an d should be shut down. It’s dirty, unsafe, and smells like they’ve never heard of cleaning products. Avoid at all costs, unless you want to experience the absolute worst of San Diego. If I could give negative stars I most definitely would. This place is DISGUSTING.

Places is dirty and has mold on the ceiling of shower . They wont give you a towel till 7:30 am till housekeeping shows up. Hopefully you don’t check in around 7pm because they cant help you toll the morning with housekeeping items . Lady in the front is rude . $620 for 2 nights . Will never stay here or recommend to anyone. This is a traphouse hotel for sure . Worst customer service ever .

I feel bad giving this harsh of a review because they are nice people. But the rooms are shabby, there are ants in the bathroom, and there was a dude smoking crack right outside my door. I had to step over him to leave. The windows don't lock and it's clear from the state of the screen that someone had come in or out that way. So I actually had to wedge something in there to even feel safe. Which I definitely did not feel at 4am last night when someone was going from door to door screaming for Josie to come out so he could kill her. The maid came in each day but as far as I can tell, only moved my curling iron around. Or maybe used it, since I found a long black hair and I have short red hair. They only emptied the trash once out of 4 days and never made the bed. I sincerely hope that the $250 per night I paid during comic con gets applied to some upgrades and security.
