Hotel Aqua Mar

I wanted to enjoy my experience here, but on my first night checking in the desk person told me I’d have the option to upgrade my room the next day, which I kindly declined because I didn’t want anyone going into my room and moving my stuff without me physically there. My second night I had just gone to bed when they woke me up and called me telling me I needed to change rooms because my bathtub was on the way to overflowing with dirty bathwater. I asked to have my booking refunded which they denied so I am now in contact with the third-party site I booked through. Upon having to move out of my room, I was put in another room only to find that my neighbors toilet wouldn’t flush because of the same water piping issue I had experienced. If you can pay the extra few bucks to stay somewhere else, I highly recommend it.

The hotel was cute but they opened our door at 10am without knocking and check out was 11am. Even confirmed with us via email a late check out and at 11:15am they were ALL standing outside of our room knocking. Really weird.

Positive: It was an easy last minute late check in and the room was clean and quiet. There was shampoo conditioner and bar soap. I the front desk was kind. There was a mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine with coffee. There was also a pullout couch. Negative: There was no hook to dry or hang towels in bathroom but there was a big hanging metal shelf above the desk that was okay. I guess similar to on the shower curtain rod.

sheets came unclean, bathroom counters stained, bugs walking on wall, most basic room i have stayed in even compared to motels, deposit was $120 and apparently they don’t refund for 5-7 days? i genuinely wish i never booked here.

First of all i had no option for a ZERO STAR review because of google. Follow my advice DO NOT STAY THERE …. We were in a kinda last minute situation where we missed our flight and needed a place to sleep and shower. My wife got this hard to pass deal on her phone and booked the place, it looked ok at first sight so we registered for the night. We went and grab dinner to McDonald’s and went back to the room my wife went to the restroom and started to eat, second bite to my hamburger and stared at the wall and i was shocked a FREAKING HAPPY ROACH all over the wall…. The same second i looked at it went back to the office and asked for a refund, the guy agreed and apologized for the inconvenience and said that his manager has to authorize the refund. We left the place, and spent the night at a different hotel. We called 3 days later to remind the guy about our refund and the manager denied it…. I’m calling the bank right now and ask for my money…..

Freshly painted and has some newer furniture. AC/heat is a wall unit. Parking passes are extra. Location is okay but there is a coffee shop, donut shop, liquor store, and a Denny's less than 400 feet in any direction.

The room was up to date with nice decor & toiletries for it's bargain price. Great value & stood out among other similar priced motel rooms.

Other than the location. Dont stay here. Customer service is horrible. They were hounding me for a credit card while i was driving to the hotel. The furniture is cheap ikea which was broken. I will never stay here again.
