Steve and Artemis are very excellent hosts. The homemade yogurt and granola are a very excellent start for the day, coffee is also very good. Rooms and shared spaces are all very clean and orderly. You can tell that the host, Steve, really truly cares for his guests. From the wonderful tour of the home and it's many art projects to making sure everyone is well informed and comfortable. He also has a vast knowledge of the surrounding areas including wonderful places to eat, and quirky attractions that you might miss while following mainstream tourist spots. I would say that your whole trip will be enhanced by staying here.

Unique & wonderfully interesting place. The house is bursting with amazing art pieces. Many have a history worth hearing about too. The koi pond is lovely & relaxing. Artamust is a charmer as well! The bed was comfy. It was blissfully quiet. Coffee in the room was a nice touch. The granola was delicious & filling. Steve was a generous & attentive landlord & lively conversationalist too. I highly recommend staying at My Big Art Project!

We got to stay at my big art project for three nights. I wish it was longer. We enjoyed conversations with Steve and taking naps the swinging bed in the backyard that he calls the magic carpet. After having his breakfast of homemade granola and homemade yogurt we have been making his granola and yogurt at home, it’s the perfect way to start a day. Steve is a great host, he gave us lots of tip for what and where to go in the area. Highly recommend staying at in Big Art Project 💟

I found here a timeless zen-like retreat with trees, hummingbirds & amazing koi. Nature and Art offer a quiet meditation. Steve is the perfect host. Security is complete & easy in & out. Breakfast & coffee is ready when you are. I hope to be back soon.❤️

I love my big art project. I stay there every time I’m in Santa Rosa. Steve and ArtaMust his dog are great hosts and making me feel welcome and safe. His homemade granola and yogurt are exceptional, but his coffee is the best part of the morning. I always look forward to what Steve has done since my last visit.

I really enjoyed my stay at my big art project. It’s such a creative place. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding, homemade granola, homemade yogurt and fresh fruit salad. The coffee he served was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.

My big art project is the most creative place we’ve ever stayed. Steve is an amazing curator of art as well as an amazing artist. We look forward to coming back and seeing what he’s done next until then we’ll just enjoy the granola recipe that he gave us.
