NillOur first impression was with the staff who were very helpful and nice. We had never stayed here before but will definitely will be back. Our reservation with Spring Hill Suites was canceled the day of our arrival and we had to scramble to find a new dog friendly room in Golden for two nights on a visit to our son. I found Sonesta on my Google app a mile away. I am in a wheelchair so also needed a handicap room. We were in 138, a full suite. The rooms were large and spotless. The main room had a full kitchen with cooking supplies, a table with chairs, a large TV, recliner and, loveseat. The bedroom had another TV and Queen size bed. Our son lcame with pizzas and we were not crowded. The downside was the very old ratty state of the furniture. As we were not there to impress anyone and it was clean at less than half the price of every place else we were very happy. We will back next year. This place is a bargain.

NillLoved the spacious, well appointed room. Wasn't too impressed with the location, but oh well. If I could afford the Broadmoor, I would have stayed there, haha. Although the value was definitely there, the $5 per night hidden parking fee irritated me. One of the reasons I stay away from downtown is because of parking fees. If they didn't have a parking lot, I could understand it ,but they do. Why can't they just up the rate a little if they need the extra $5? Anyway, overall a really good place to stay for the money-conscious traveler, in my opinion.

NillThis is an old, tired and filthy hotel. While the staff was friendly and did their best to help, the room was dirty, had stained lamp shades, tried two coffee makers for the room that didn’t work, and the phone didn’t work to even call the hotel staff. The gym is very limited with equipment. The two treadmills were out of order. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

NillI love Sonesta brand but I wish they would not have an app for the laundry. My phone is older and its really hard to download apps so i went to a laundromat instead. Also charging for parking is such a way to nickle and dime people when most hotels do not charge parking.

NillThe room I originally reserved was dirty and had no bedding. The room they replaced it with was alright; the clock didn't work. They kept my deposit of $250 for almost a month and when I finally got it back it was only $216. DON'T GO HERE. GO ACROSS THE STREET!

NillGreetings :) I’d like to start with the positives 1) location - for what I needed it was perfect 2) rooms are spacious and quiet 3) staff were incredibly polite and approachable and responsive Now the downside: 1) I stayed on the third floor where there were some renovations being done. I believe carpets were being installed. The smell of the glue hits you like a brick coming out of that elevator. And absolutely nothing is being done to mitigate this very overpowering - give you a massive headache- stench not to mention the inherent health risks of being exposed to that kind of offgassing. 2) I was beyond dismayed to discover that at the foot of my bed were several!!!! Toenail clippings on the carpet. Like, gross. 3) there was hair in the bathroom that wasn’t cleaned with the turn around Initially I dismissed the hair as just one of those things but when all these things start lining up I can’t but think this should be a wake up call. The level of cleanliness of this building is appalling I’m sorry to say. Please do better.
