As a frequent guest who once spent several nights a week here over 2 years, I was keenly anticipating the hotel's reopening post-renovation. While I wanted to love the new version as much as the old, the experience was a letdown. The renovation seems only skin-deep, and the warm, proactive service I fondly remember has been replaced by something far more impersonal.||||My stay began with a chaotic check-in. The lobby lacked clear queuing, and the dedicated World of Hyatt elite desk was unstaffed. The agent who assisted me failed to mention any Globalist benefits, requiring me to press for details.||||A major disappointment is the elimination of the much-loved club lounge. Its replacement, a meager $30 breakfast credit, is only applicable to room service. Considering most breakfast items start at $22, plus a $4 delivery charge and a $1 administration fee (and any additional tip) the credit is wholly inadequate. Receiving the meal in a paper bag with cheap plastic cutlery only added to the feeling of a downgraded experience. ||||The room itself highlighted the superficial nature of the renovation; the new aesthetic was very pleasant, but the bathtub area was identical to how I remember it a decade ago. I was assigned a room on the second floor and the noise from the downstairs events was persistent, and the walls are so poorly insulated that I could hear every word from the neighboring room. I even had to remind the checkout agent to apply the breakfast credit to my bill.||||Ultimately, I would still consider returning for this property. There's also a very inspired intimate movie theater—a creative use of a former event space—that I hope to check out. I just hope that management invests in training its new staff to bring back the soul of the hotel and the welcoming, attentive service that once made it so special.

Beautiful space, the rooms are spacious, the lobby is stunning, staff is friendly and willing to help. Had an overall great experience! I shot the getting ready photos from a wedding here and there were so many great photo spots! Only thing not to love- breakfast only served from the cafe and its frozen sandwiches that are just heated up. Not super filling and very plain + very pricey.

We stayed 2 nights for my boyfriends 60th birthday celebration in his hometown. The hotel was very nice and convenient. Love all the new renovations. Ordered room service for breakfast, it was delicious. The bed was very comfortable too, no complaints at all! Would recommend.

Went here to decorate for an Indian wedding, the location is very convenient basically right off the highway. The service at the front desk from Devon (not sure I spelled that right) what's exceptional he helped me with any issue I had. Patrick and Amber both were amazing and organizing and helping out in any way we needed to make the event successful. Besides that the bartenders were amazing and that beautiful atrium it is such a pleasure to just sit at and relax there for hours. I did ask several people how the heck did those trees get in there but nobody had a lol. Will definitely visit again even if just to go eat and have a drink in the atrium. Amazing place, amazing people can't say enough about this hotel make sure you visit and stay!

Great location and comfortable stay. The hotel is gorgeous, with self parking or valet for guests. Our room was lovely. A nice space facing the atrium. However, I do recall an additional $20 charge that was put out during our booking that stated we would be able to possibly upgrade to a corner room, and we did not get that. Feels as though we need a refund for that $20, no? The rooms were nice, with up to date appliances and lighting by the beds. You can dim the lights however you want which I thought was great, and the space has blackout curtains which are a must if you can only sleep in total darkness like me. However I do wish that there were more light fixtures by the mirrors near the door. I found that with the light from the window and lamps, it created a shadowy sort of pocket in this area where I feel light is needed most. My only other comment about the room was that we had a bathtub with a shower curtain rather than a standing shower. And from what i could see, the part of the shower curtain that goes into the tub had some small brown spots at the end. The hotel itself is immaculate, though, with a lovely restaurant that does deliveries and an inside market for grab and go items like cereal, sandwiches or ice cream. I love that the grassy parts of the atrium make it fun for children to enjoy as well if they aren’t in the pool! Overall? I would definitely return and take part in their famous brunch buffet that they have every other Sunday I believe. It was a comfortable stay and felt like paradise. My only request next time would be a standing shower PLEASE.

This is definitely one of the best Hyatts for short-term stays. I stay there frequently, often with my family, and it is always hospitable, neat, clean and very friendly. The rooms are quiet and you can always get a good night's sleep. The staff could not be more pleasant.

The atrium and banquet staff were lovely but that's where the compliments end. For starters, the registration desk didn't know if they could "accommodate" my early check in time of 1pm even though I requested it 2 months in advance and a reminder call at 9am day of. I was also a wedding guest. Then I found out that the room above us had dogs who barked all night and all morning. It was late and we couldn't get a hold of anyone at the hotel to swap our room. I had such high hopes for this hotel but it was not worth the $300 per night price tag.

I had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich. The hotel is beautiful, with an elegant design that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing environment. The hotel’s ambiance is warm and inviting, with friendly and attentive staff that ensures a pleasant stay. The amenities, including the fitness center and pool, are top-notch. The only downside is the food, which is on the pricier side. While the quality is good, it may not be ideal for those looking for more affordable dining options. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay, and I would definitely return despite the cost of the food.
