Courtyard Stamford Downtown

Location was perfect, however nothing else was worth the price. Found dirty used contact lens in the bathroom from prior clients. The ceiling had water damage. Had to contact a few times to ensure I had late checkout at 4pm. It was confirmed but then when I returned at 3pm, I’m locked out. Finally retrieve my vehicle from valet parking at $30 per day to see that it was parked where birds were obviously nesting. They didn’t even clean the windows when they brought it out of parking and could not see clearly out the windshield to drive away.

I really like this hotel. Everyone here was nice comfortable bed for sure. The location was very pretty the hotel it's self was nice. The only thing I had a problem with or didn't make any sense would be we can only leave the hotel once in ur car. I also was a little confused on the remote, as we turned on netflix it was like slow to move side up down off on. Othere wise really like this i like how they take ur car to the garage for u I am here now and this is my second and last night the pool and exercise room is good I like how there is a bathroom in the pool area. I would TOOTS recommend

It's a Courtyard and a good one. New rooms are nice. Service is excellent. Good place to eat in hotel but the breakfast service is lacking a bit. Better than the full service Marriott nearby.

Wonderful experience. Perfect location on a super cute street with lots of restaurants. Very clean with a quint bar and Italian restaurant in the lobby. Special shout-out to Yuri at the front desk for exceptional service and hospitality.

The day of my checkout I requested my Uber to the airport and when I went out to get in it, the valet parking guy was yelling at my Uber because he couldn't wait for me in front of the hotel. It was a pretty tense situation since along with the driver of a black bus (I imagine it was from the hotel) they were yelling and verbally attacking the Uber telling him that they were going to send the police to him for waiting there. There were several guests in the place and all this happened there. This seemed like a gang episode since once I managed to get in the Uber, the bus driver was blocking us so that we couldn't get out. In addition, he almost crashed my Uber with me inside while the valet parking guy kept yelling (who by his voice I think was from Puerto Rico since I also speak Spanish) that he was going to call the police to fine him. I apologized to my Uber since I was very embarrassed by the situation I put him in. This is truly shameful that I, as a hotel guest, had to go through this just for requesting an Uber.

Great location. Very nice hotel. Very clean. The desk people always greeted us when we came into the hotel. The valet service was very efficient. FYI-it’s a hotel Starbucks so limited offerings. Loved that we could walk everywhere. Only negative was how expensive it was but worth it to be close to everything. Glad we choose it.

On the positive side, a good location, a large room with a sofa, a nice breakfast with a friendly waitress., a clean and well equipped bathroom. |The experience there is unfortunately not really positive mainly because of a lack of attention to details: hotel staff was professional but lacked a bit of warmth, most USB sockets did not work, the coffee machine was a good attention but it would have been nice to have 2 cups, the valet parking attendant did not even offer to help with the luggage. |Really a pity not to better enhance this hotels’ assets.

A good measure of a hotel is a long-term stay. I was at the Courtyard for a month due to business. First class both front- and back-of-the house. Comfortable rooms with all the right touches. Solid bed, clean and bright bathroom. Great area close to all restaurants, major shopping and transportation. Will be back!
