Stamford Suites Hotel

I had a great stay. Felt like I was in a one bedroom apartment. I traveled for work & as a single woman knowing that the hotel is right across from the police station. I felt safe. Will be back next month. Happy customer!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Stamford Suites Hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious and felt more like a small apartment than a typical hotel room, which made it super comfortable for a longer stay. The location was also a big plus—close to downtown but still quiet enough to relax. Prince is very friendly and extremely helpful, and I appreciated the little extras like the kitchen area and free parking. It was a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value Disliked · While my overall stay was positive, there are a few areas that could be improved. The décor and furnishings felt a bit dated and could use some modern updates to match the spaciousness of the suites. Housekeeping could also be more consistent some days everything was spotless, and others it seemed a little rushed. Lastly, adding a few more amenities like a fitness center or on-site dining options would really elevate the experience.

The staff under the new management and location is very great. The rooms are above average and are being renovated to with new appliances and furniture to make the stay even better and wholesome. This is by far my best experience in any hotel in Stamford.

Decent room, needs updates but I understand they have new owners who are working on updating the location. Had a good view from the 6th floor. Breakfast was acceptable but hopefully when they finish upgrades it will be better.

All in all a very comfortable stay. The reason why I gave it a five-star for service is because I called the front desk at 5:00 a.m. looking for a cup of coffee. At first I was told coffee isn't available until 7:00 with breakfast, when I asked if there's any place in the neighborhood I was told no place would be open yet, so the person at the front desk made me coffee. This made my day!

Elevators and carpeting in the hallways are dated and our floor did smell like indian food. Personally we werent bothered but if you cant stand kurry it could be an issue. Location/ cleanliness of our room/ views/ hospitality was all great for the price. Being directly across the street from a police station is a bonus when in a city youre not used to. Will come back.

Big rooms, comfortable & clean beds, convenient, walkable to downtown 👍 Everything is a little worn and tired, old whirlpool tub is loud, kitchen stinks from strong cleaning chemicals 👎 Just fine for one night right off the Amtrak line or coming in/out of NYC.

In a great location. 2 minute walk to downtown where all the restaurants and the hustle-bustle of Stamford activity lie. Looks like the new management is doing an incredible job of improving the quality of rooms, the hotel overall and adding more amenities to make the guest stay more pleasant and more memorable. Highly recommend it to everyone!
