Tru by Hilton Atlanta Northlake Parkway

Comfortable rooms and a trendy, well-appointed lobby, with good breakfast and ample parking. The evening lobby staff were fantastic, friendly, and helpful; the daytime staff put me on hold and never picked up the phone. Housekeeping came into the room when I was out during the day and had the "do not disturb" on the door. They refreshed the towels, but didn't touch the trash, and I didn't need new towels. That felt intrusive. So, that was good and bad.

The rooms in this hotel have a minimalist and modern feel where the room furniture isn’t overstuffed and it lacks a closet and microwave but it does have a mini-fridge. It has light and pleasant decor. It is small but makes good use of the space. The bed was comfy. Breakfast is typical motel/hotel fare. Parking is free and the front desk person- Millie- was a very pleasant, nice, helpful person.

First time in Atlanta got in about 11:30 or so I stayed at the Tru on Saturday (22nd) The young lady I first encountered was very pleasant and helpful, can't remember her name. She let me use the bathroom to get dressed for my brother's funeral and also let me leave my bag there until I got back, my checking wasn't until 3:00 .Sunday ( 23rd ) Went down for breakfast, was good , only thing was that I burnt up my bagel because I did not know how to use the machine,the guy at the desk did not ask did I need any help but right after that a gentleman came up and he walked over and showed him how to use the machine I felt some kind of way about that. Only thing I can say bad about the room ( no microwave , my toiletries were not filled ). Monday ( 24th ) went down for breakfast ( the attendant was rude when I asked her about the yogurt machine ) . All in all the stay was great.

I can say the rooms are fairly smaller than what I'm used to but the breakfast makes up for that. This is the best breakfast buffet I ever had. And this is the first place that I know offered grits. The rooms were very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing.

These room sizes are like shoeboxes. Shower door wasnt installed right so water leaks everywhere. AC system clinks and clangs all night so sounds like someones trying to get into your room at all hours. Drunk people and drunks in hallways yelling late into the night. If you get a night where garbage comes, get ready for 30 minutes of nonstop backup beeping at 3am. And hope you enjoy smelling like Lemon Pledge because the soaps and body wash provided make you smell like disinfectant. And their pillows, my god, the only way i can describe these atrocities are that they are 1-ply pillows. You lay down and your head sinks all the way through and you can feel your head touching the matress.

I stayed two nights and I had a good stay overall. It's quiet and the staff are very friendly. The room reminded me of a dorm, everything was compact down to the lighting. There is a refrigerator but no microwave. No carpet which I loved because pets are allowed. No complimentary toiletries so bring everything in that dept.

Very clean and affordable. 20 min drive to Downtown ATL. Front desk staff are very nice and helpful. Only complaint I would say is the Breakfast weekend staff lady had an attitude each morning I went down. Mumbling under her breath and speaking to guests in a rude way. You could clearly tell she didn't like her job.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Tru by Hilton in Atlanta located on Northlake Pkwy. The front deck lady, T’ Asia, was wonderful. She was very helpful with locating food to be delivered to us, as we were exhausted from our travel and didn’t want to leave the hotel. She even checked on us after we got into our room. She is definitely a keeper and a perfect example of excellent service for so many hotels throughout the U.S. to follow.|The room was clean and large, with comfortable beds. I especially loved the large bathroom and shower.|I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for its services.
