Budget Inn, Hwy 41

Asked for more towels and was given 1. Had to take my trash. Smelled like weed and smoke even though it was supposed to be non smoking hotel. No conditioner. The ice machine was broken. No breakfast.

First room tv didn’t work, sink did not drain and the smell was horrible. Second room, a little better, but stains all over bedspread. No coffee pot or hair dryer. Ice machine broken.

Hands down the cleanest local hotel I've ever been to. No bugs, very tidy. Good working a/c, lights, tv, spotless microwave. No coffee maker in the room but there's free coffee in the lobby. Within walking distance of a grocery store, restaraunts & more. Friendly, helpful staff who allowed me to check the room before purchase. Peaceful environment, not bothered by anyone; no obnoxious people loitering around. Great experience, I would go back ✔️

Tried to book online claimed cant use there internet offered to book the room at almost double the price

Look, I know “budget” is in the name and I thought my expectations were not too high. It’s a get what you pay for situation, right? Things I didn’t pay for but was happily rewarded with: roaches (dead AND alive; what a treat), stained and dirty sheets, bedroom doors that don’t close and lock properly, tenant access to the building propped open with a brick 24/7, leftover soap in the shower from the previous tenant, half used lotion left next to the “fresh” soaps and shampoo, and just dirt everywhere. I could not locate a clean surface, wall or floor. The literal bed frame was covered in…something. I stayed here because of the proximity to a wedding venue; don’t do it. Book the hotel that’s 30 minutes away. It literally could not be worse than staying at Budget Inn.

There were cobwebs on multiple surfaces in the room, meaning it hadn't been cleaned, dusted, wiped or anything, in a good while. Dust/debris on the floor that looked like dead bug parts. I was awoken by kids screaming and running in the halls. I didn't book this spot for myself and I was glad to get out of there in less than 24hrs 😬

Driving home and had to stop for the night. Staff was fantastic. Room was cheep, and clean. AC was loud and maid banging noises all night. Still got the sleep needed and finished my trip safely.

Good place if your traveling, waffle house walking distance, Ingles cross the 4 lane and jacks block away, CVS and Zacks checking , little Caesars. Drive safe peeps ttyl
