On February 21st, 2025 we stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn on our way to our home in Florida. Our intention was to check in and wander next door to Chilis for dinner. Esmarelda checked us in, acknowledged us as Hilton Honors members and thanked us for beoing a loyal Hilton patron. She mentioned that this hotel had a bar and dining room and encouraged us to stop by. After checking in and a quick freshening up we did stop by the bar for a quick drink before going to Chilis. We decided to sit at the bar and in no time Claudia engaged us in a friendly conversation while serving our cocktails. As we chatted with her, two other couples also sitting at the bar also joined in on our conversation. one couple from St. Louis and the other from upper Michigan. Claudia was so friendly as she engaged us all in conversation that we had a few more drinks, ordered chicken wings along with the other couples. Never did make it to Chilis all because of Claudia's great service and as a result we all exchanged business cards and now have two other couples as friends. That is how a large hotel chain retains loyal customers. Both Esmarelda and Claudia should be recognised by the General Manager as excepyional employees. Our hats off to both of them and because of them we will make this hotel a regular stop as we drive back and forth twice a year to Florida and would without hesitation recommend staying here and for sure stop at the bar for a cocktail and a chat. We had a very bad experience at this hotel. We had a king suite, which was comprised of a bed and a pull-out sofa sleeper, for 3 travelers. Despite several attractive advertisements in the elevators, the in hotel bar/restaurant was closed well before 10 pm on Friday night. We were advised to go to Chilis across the parking lot if we wanted anything. The room was spacious and the bathroom was beautiful and clean. However, when we pulled out the sleeper, there was a dirty mattress pad on the bed. The front desk clerk came "to look at it" and promised to bring a new sheet. We clarified that we needed a new mattress pad, which she brought. The sheets for the pull-out bed were in the closet. There was only one pillow for that bed and the very thin blanket was also dirty. While we were making the bed, we found trash - pizza and other garbage - in the sofa. Again, the front desk clerk came to see and clean up the trash. She offered a weak apology without any follow up. When we asked for a manager, she stated there was not one on at the time, and a manager would be in at 8 am the next morning. Upon check in, we were told that breakfast was served from 6-10. By this verbiage, we assumed it was a complimentary breakfast, as is fairly normal for hotels to provide. It was not. Breakfast was available for purchase. I will add that no one greeted or offered to seat us in the restaurant. It was all very sketchy. In addition, the hotel manager had not yet arrived by nearly 9 am. Needless to say, we do NOT recommend this hotel! Hard to believe it is a Hilton. We expected so much more!

WE HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at the Hilton Garden Inn in Dalton, GA. Our room was filthy. We found dead bugs, hair and dirt in the bathroom, on the carpet, and in the carpet wall trim. The chair was filthy with stains and something sticky. The bedding and towels were dirty. We stayed for two hours or less while we unpacked/repacked our car and walked our dog. After noticing the condition of the room, we packed up, and went to the desk to check out. The desk personnel told us that we needed to talk to a manager in order to request a refund...for the room that we did not stay in. We filed a case with Hilton, and did try to reach the manager several times. When we finally did connect with him, he said that we "used the shower", which is incorrect. He would not engage in any discussion with us, but instead hung up when we challenged his incorrect statement. He also charged us for the waters even though we are Silver members. The desk told us that we were charged for waters because we were not Silver members, even though we are, and we made the reservation with our Hilton Silver Member account. When we checked in, the TV even said "Welcome, Vincent - Silver Member". Silver members are provided two complimentary waters. We finally had to dispute the charge with our credit card company. I am disappointed that this hotel is part of Hilton, which is usually very good quality. We will never stay at this location again.

We stayed one night in a king room with Jacuzzi tub. We also ate at the restaurant inside the hotel for dinner and breakfast. My review is based on our stay The goods The big room with lots of floor space which was awesome for my husband who is on a Walker. The Jacuzzi tub is huge and so relaxing. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. The restaurant had a special, steak and shrimp with 2 sides for $20 Me and my husband enjoyed the meal however, they seemed to not want to give you anything for free like bread. You had to ask for steak sauce and cocktail sauce. They seemed stingy on things like that. However the food was good and they have some of the best sweet tea. The Breakfast is not free. It’s $10 a person with the tax. I ordered one buffet and they had a lot to choose from. Different drinks, fresh cut fruit, oatmeal, cereals, bagels, toast, muffins and small danishes. Also other things. I got a tray and took the items to my room. The staff seemed to watch you somewhat to see what you were taking. But they also seemed friendly both times we ate there. In the Lobby, they put out cookies that evening and coffee and water which is nice. And Apples and Bananas in the morning. Also if you smoke, there is several areas you can go smoke. One being close to the pool area and restaurant which is outside. There is also a snack bar area close to the front desk. Most items were $3 and $4 each I bought 3 items around $9 The hotel has a beautiful entrance which is elegant. What needs improved on, The coffee pot in the room was nasty. I used it once but it didn’t taste good and the outside and inside needs a good cleaning. The bed. Omg. It’s hard as a rock. Im used to a softer bed so we didn’t sleep at all that night. We even left at 8 a.m. to come home and sleep. I was shocked the Hilton doesn’t have good beds. I’ve stayed at many hotels, not as nice, and they had the best mattresses. Hilton needs to really invest in better mattresses for their guest. Although I enjoyed a lot but I wouldn’t stay there again. The mattress is a no no for me. Everything seemed clean in our room other than the coffee pot. We used booking dot com and paid $163.00 for one night. It isn’t worth that with no getting any sleep because of a solid rock hard mattress. We did not get in the pool but walked in the pool area. It goes up to 5ft. It is heated. The gym area has all kinds of equipment Summary, I enjoyed the Jacuzzi., the food, the snacks, definitely the coffee. But the bed is a deal breaker for me. It was mostly a quiet environment At times the air was loud when it came on. Parking is great and check in was smooth and easy. They do hold a $25 charge when you get there in case you want to charge something to your room. They refund the day you check out. We never left the hotel to adventure out but there’s tons of restaurants near by. It felt safe. The entrance is a steep hill going down so be aware when pulling in. Over all ratings 3.5 out of 5 That bed king size was too hard and uncomfortable. In my opinion breakfast should be included and staff which is mostly men, don’t need to watch over you when getting food.

This place was so dirty, we had to sleep on top of the bedding because there was hair and fur on the sheets. You could tell someone else has slept in the bed and all they did was pull the top comforter over. It was just filthy. Everything was dirty. It was out a Kleenex. The toilet paper roll was nearly empty. It was a bad, never stayed somewhere so dirty and the lobby was so nice looking

This is the best hotel in Dalton. Highly recommended. It is my first choice for a hotel when working in the Dalton Georgia area. Service is generally good. Staff is generally helpful. I have had an issue a on occasion that had been resolved promptly and satisfactorily. I have noticed that however the bar and restaurant closes early based upon occupancy.

I must share how upset I am with Hilton. On 10/19-24 we spent $170 for a room. We returned on10-31/2024 and was charged$390. Property was The Hilton Gardens in Dalton,Georgia. When I asked the desk clerk and then called the manager at the property I was told the busier they are the more they charge. Omg I feel like they do not care about their customers or members in their honor program. Honestly I don’t know how I can ever support a company that places profits over everything else. Just so you know I did reach out to those places. I was told the busier we are the more we charge. If you are not happy look somewhere else. Not my words your associates word. What a great business model. Hurry for all the executives we are paddling our million dollar bonuses. Your answer is wonderful corporate double talk. You want to talk about integrity Still waiting to hear from you I have followed through 100% And all i have heard is corporate double talk So very disappointed with your response

While staying at your hotel while in the pool a few minutes after 10pm , the pool lights were shut off with NO notice given by staff or by the hotel. All guests were left in the pool including my child in complete darkness which is unacceptable from a safety standpoint. Just before this, while there were no towels available on the pool shelf, I asked the front desk and was told she only had one left.
