Holiday Inn Express Savannah Airport by IHG

We initially didn’t book a stay here but due to horrendous accommodations at another hotel we were forced to move. The team was super accommodating since it was very last minute, the room was super clean, smelled fresh and all the staff were super polite. I also wanted to recognize Haley the GM. When we explained our issues with the prior hotel and trying to get an adjustment on our rate, she was super polite and apologized on behalf of the other hotel which she absolutely did not have to do! Because of her generosity and exceptional customer service, I’d highly recommend people to stay with them!!

I've stayed at this location a couple times due to my company, but every time seems to get worst it's either the staff or the rooms that are inconsistent. From the moment I checked in the front desk rep was occupied. Going back & forth with someone on the phone, so when it came for me to check in he breezed through it. Checked me in without looking at my i.d just gave me the room key, then forgot he gave me one. When I got to my room it was disgusting. As if it was briefly looked over when cleaning. It was like they just cleaned what was noticeably touched from previous guest. Before I ever bring my luggage in a room I make sure to sanitize, check sheets etc because the rooms can be flipped quickly without noticing detail. This was my last time staying, and I'm thankful my company agrees.

We were driving to Florida from New Jersey. We had driven 11 hours and were exhausted. We saw Holiday Inn Express, it was right next to Cracker Barrel, which is my favorite! We were able to get a nice king size bed. The room was very comfortable clean and had everything you need! The front desk was extremely helpful. We were in the room quickly and getting ready for a Cracker Barrel dinner, we slept well! Next morning refreshed and on our way!

I checked out of my room on 12/20/2024 to go home for the holidays. I stayed from 01/01/2025 thru 01/08/2025. There were things that I noticed on the earlier stay that had not been corrected when I arrived on the later stay. I couldn’t swear to it but I don’t think the towels and wash clothes were clean. Soap and body wash were empty when I left on the earlier stay and was still empty on the later stay. The young man that does the janitorial work got my supplies that I needed and assured me if I needed anything else to just let him know. Very friendly young man. This particular IHG location has been my go to spot for a few years now and overall I do like it. The area is convenient to the airport and dining.

As snowbirds we stop at this exit off 95 at least 3 times year. We have stayed at all of the hotels in this complex and have been happiest with HI Express. Clean, comfortable, and the AC does not roar, it lets us sleep. The breakfast is good, the staff is friendly and as we check in the desk remembers to give us a $2 coupon for dinner at Sam Sneads, a short walk across the street. Even better, back in August 2024 when we did a late cancel due to the pending hurricane, the manager waived the penalty for the cancellation. That was a truly unexpected and pleasant surprise. We will continue to make this our stop.

I can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel! From the front desk, back office, and the ladies providing breakfast…customer service is their expertise. I have stayed there several times. It feels more like going to see friends vs a hotel stay. If ever an issue they are quick to address it.

The rooms are very spacious and clean with very nice amenities like shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The breakfast was very good--fresh ground roast coffee and many good breakfast selections. The staff was very friendly and helpful--recommended a very nice local place to eat.

The shower head was poor. The water did not come out strong at all and I felt my long hair was not washed well.However, I enjoyed the overall stay. The food at the breakfast bar was great. I loved relaxing at the heated pool. To me, that was worth the stay, even though the pool is way too small. The only nothing I did not like was the smell in the room. It was like moldy or musky.
