Spark by Hilton Savannah Airport

Very nice staff! Extremely clean hotel. The bagel bar was very convenient and tasty. I’ve already booked my next stay at Spark. Located less than 5 minutes from the airport and I-95. Complimentary shuttle to the airport was wonderful. The beds are so comfortable and the room was quiet. I was very satisfied with my stay.

Location! Location! "I shall return," I told the desk clerk as I was departing for the Airport. I made a smart move reserving a room close to the Savannah Airport. The amiable gent who checked me in gave me unsolicited advice: a restaurant and a question I posed in regards to my rental car. Bottom line: my room was spacious and quiet. In regards to the somewhat limited breakfast-- I was pleased with the raisin bran cereal. Recall, waiting near the desk to check out, grabbed a water out of the cooler, and started counting my change. The lovely, friendly lady who earlier happened to be the recipient of all my SPARK Hotel comments, disappeared briefly --- on her return she gave me a bottle of water. Count on it-- I shall be back to the SPARK.

Nothing special but a good, reasonably priced option close to the airport. The staff was courteous and efficient, and the room was clean. The heating system ran quietly which is more than I can say for many hotel rooms. The one downside of the room was the lack of a coffee maker. As others have noted the breakfast was pretty basic, but the all-day(?) cookie table was a nice touch.

Excellent service, clean room and appropriate amenities. Travelling alone, I especially appreciated the sense of safety and security that it provided. The morning breakfast provided, was well presented with good quality food. It made my stay very enjoyable since I had an unexpected stay due to plane cancellations.

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Seems like a safe area to stay and lots of great food options nearby. Having said that, this is a sleep and shower only option. You can tell it’s an older newly remodeled ex-Comfort Inn (my GPS was still calling it the Comfort Inn-Airport). The cooling unit in my room was louder than the take offs from the nearby airport. Good thing though…drowned out the people talking and blasting their TV through the paper thin walls in the room next to me, and all the rude customers letting doors slam all night. Bottom line: for a budget one night crash pad while traveling on I-95 you could do worse. And I’d still rather stay here than at the nearby Hampton because at least the staff here was not rude like my previous experience at the Hampton!!!

Diamond member and I called to request additional towels. Front desk asked that I put old towels out in hall and they would bring more towels. I did that and after an hour of not receiving new, fresh towels I called front desk. Front desk stated I would not be able to get new, fresh towels until they did laundry and guest left. Then they would put towels in front of room door. Hours later I received 2 new towels……4 adults in room. Very disappointing!!!! I’ve never stayed in a hotel where I was not able to get additional towels. Coffee in the am was not hot. It was barely warm!! Walls are very thin and staff were not very pleasant. No coffee maker or microwave in room was. This is a pet friendly hotel and there was a round nasty spot in room.

We loved the pillows and bedding. Even though this is a pet friendly hotel, and we had 2 dogs with us, there was no pet odor or stains. The house keeping staff does an amazing job!! Thank you for that! We only stayed one night and needed none of the amenities and we checked out before breakfast. The kind staff member who checked us in was amazing as well. Will certainly consider staying at another Spark by Hilton again and will recommend this specific hotel and brand to others.

I was expecting a budget hotel and that’s what I got. Very clean, friendly staff. Hotel has a mix of old and new interior furnishings and fixtures. Would stay again. Beds were comfortable with nice sheets and pillowcases. The hotel is situated back off the highway. No I-95 noise. Entrance slightly hidden..
