Days Inn by Wyndham Savannah Gateway I-95

The owners response is NOT accurate as the most they were willing to do was a $20 credit. 1 Star – Deceptive, Uncomfortable, and Utterly Unacceptable This hotel was an enormous disappointment. Upon arrival, it was immediately clear the property is in a severe state of disrepair. The room I was given had peeling flooring, a broken toilet seat, and lamps missing their shades — all of which gave the space a dim, neglected, and unsettling atmosphere. The air conditioning was completely nonfunctional, leaving the room stifling at over 80 degrees with a persistent musty odor that made it difficult to relax, let alone sleep. Oh and the TV is outdated and doesn't work (has no channels available). When I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk, I was met with indifference and informed that no refunds would be issued. The refusal to take accountability for the substandard conditions is deeply unprofessional and speaks volumes about the management’s disregard for guest experience. I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone. It is not worth the cost, time, or frustration. For some reason there isn't an option to post photos 😒

Great hotel, great price, and great service!!! The woman at the front desk was very nice and gave me tips on where to go for food and fun. Then I met the manager, yet again, a very nice woman. They were both very accommodating. My room was super clean and looked very nice! Will definitely stay again and highly recommend it!!

The room was nice, but the bed is extremely hard. The staff were great, very polite and helpful. The location was good. There does need to be more lighting in front of the hotel so that it can be seen at night from the road better at night. The breakfast was ok, but it could use a few more choices (muffins, yogurt, sausage or bacon and maybe a banana in addition to the apples) and most definitely needs help with coffee (way too strong). We cut the coffee with hot water the first day half and half and was still strong. Then we got our coffee pot for our room while we was there (I usually always travel with one). The staff was very friendly and helpful, which certainly is appreciated when both of us are disabled. We will stay here again on future visits to Savannah.

The air didn't work so the rooms was so hot. 1 person in our party booked 2 rooms the night before check in and we arrived on check in and we didn't even have our correct rooms so 5 people had to squeeze in 1 king size bed room. The breakfast area was nasty and the food didn't look good at all. The rooms was rigged because the bathroom fan didn't even have a cover over it.

The hotel was clean, the pool was well maintained, and the staff was friendly. Our dog was only an extra $15. My only issue was that we went down to breakfast an hour before it was over and almost everything was gone. There was coffee though, and that's really all I need. We had just spent 2 days at a higher end hotel in Myrtle Beach where my dog cost an extra $150 and the room wasn't as clean and well maintained, so this was a dream.

The A/C and heat did not work properly. We had to get up many times throughout the night to get it to turn back on. There were p*bic hairs on the towels we were given. Water pressure in the shower was terrible. They were incredibly cheap with their renovations, there are huge gaps in the floor and the corners are peeling away from the wall. Will not be staying here again.

Very good front front desk clerk. First room was a mess. We told her and she immediately changed rooms for us to a much better room. First room wreaked of smoke, flooring was heavily damaged, bathroom was gross. Second room was pretty nice all around - the HDMI on the tv was plugged into the wrong port (which I corrected) and a couple of stained bath towels but otherwise, nice.|Thanks!

#1 No Smoking policy!!! I hate the smell of smoke, I did NOT have to worry about the smell in of any type of smoking smell!! Exceptional customer service from beginning to end of my weekend stay. Breakfast was served promptly with great food choices. Very friendly staff who were always polite and helpful with whatever needs were asked of and accommodations were made available. Will be visiting again. Highly recommended for quality and the price.
