This hotel is worn out and worn down. Carpet needs replacing in the room, chairs on the deck overlooking the parking lot were old and permanently dirty, and the tub faucet was loose from the wall and leaked. Cleaning is every 3rd day. By looking at the lobby photos you would think the rooms might be renovated but that was not the case. There was hardly anyone staying there yet the room we were given with titanium status was a balcony view of the street and parking. I requested the parking fee be comped since we had the tub issues but was told I didn’t bring the concern up soon enough so nothing would be done. We saw so many better options for our next visit while visiting Savannah.

We were supposed to stay for four nights but checked out after only one, we had to switch rooms due to the a/c unit making a loud rattling noise. When we got to the new room the bathroom was filthy, and the a/c unit still make the rattling sound. It was not worth the money we paid to stay there definitely would not recommend this place it is very outdated and nasty

Location is great. Balcony was a plus as well. Breakfast is not buffet style. Order only. Elevator or ice machine did not work. Charged my card twice. I have called several times. Manager not on duty. I am having to email manager. Would not recommend. Oh did I mention, you pay for parking.

The lobby is very nice for a 3 star hotel. The hotel as a whole is average and 3 star at best. I would not stay here again. There are way to many options in this part of town to choose a 3 star hotel that charges for parking. If they said it when I booked online, I missed it or I would have never booked. Upon checkout I noticed a $9.00 charge for parking. This is absurd because the customer's ability to park is what enables them to sell and book rooms. It's like the grocery stores in some cities not providing a bag, claiming to help the environment when they are really just saving money. Marriott is taking advantage of their guests and I for one won't tolerate it. If there were other services I might be willing but when there is no free breakfast, the lighting in the mirrored area over the sink is so bad and no woman applying makeup would be happy with the lighting. As a matter of fact I complained about it during checkout and the employee told me that this is a common complaint. This means Marriott is aware but chooses not to do anything. In addition, what hotel doesn't have a full mirror in the room? We are not home but expect to have at least the comfort of home that allows us to see ourselves before going to see family or events. Dang!!! I'm not done. The placement of the television which is large was ridiculous. The dresser is on right side of the bed (parallel). When you are lying in or on the bed you have to lay sideways in order to see the television because it's not in front of you, but on the side of you. Whoever lays on the left has to try and watch television over the person laying next to them. You need to break your neck trying to see the television. The pilIows 2 on each side were flat. Even with 2 it felt like one. Cheap just cheap. We also hate these cheap hotels that have the low toilets. Spend another $1 or $2 and provide a toilet a couple of inches higher. I know anyone, but especially the seniors would appreciate it. Lastly, we went out to get a quick breakfast. We came to the lobby but I refused to pay $6 for coffee (not a fan of Starbucks) and $6 for a bagel. Really Marriott? I'm hurt and surprised at you. You have to do better or Hilton will get our money for now on. We have a large travel group that we are bringing next year and hoped this would be a great option. I don't think so! We do NOT want to be embarrassed. Pass, Don't Go!

This hotel charges for parking which makes no sense. I absolutely understand when parking is charged downtown or airport locations. But this location is an average to below average neighborhood and has normal surface level parking with no public transportation or walking to desired tourist spots. This just feels like deceptive pricing or gouging.

I give customer service 3 stars. Everything else less than 1 star. First they charge you an additional $150 to hold and they charge you to park in their parking lot. It's about $9/day. We ordered the breakfast package before our stay, but each day they limit you to what you can eat & drink. Also the pool was closed and tape off so was the workout room. Everything was broken. There are far better options in the area.

The customer service and staff were really very helpful and gracious. I only stayed for two nights. It is located about 8-10 minutes away from the historic district. The room was clean and well kept. It was located in a busy area, but it was quiet. I will definitely stay here another time if I visit Savannah.

Positive: The room was decent. No lotion in room though Negative: There was too much marijuana smell in the hotel. When staff was told that someone was actively smoking, they said they would send someone up. Nobody came.
