Absolutely filthy. You should be ashamed. No one has cleaned these rooms in a very long time. Reeks of cigarettes. There are press on nails in the floor and rodent droppings everywhere. This is slum lord level of an operation. I’ll be looking into a refund. I’ll be filing a complaint to the better business bureau

I was there last year when they had the fire and I lost everything. I have been calling about what I need to do to get my belongings replaced and they have no answer for me. They say call corporate and corporate says call them. I just want my stuff replaced. I tried to go over after the fire and get what I could and they ran me off and said they would call the police the next time.

This Red roof has amazing staff! The lady who checked me in was super duper sweet. And the guy who helped me get my stuff to my room l, he also gave me extra pillow that I asked for. The laundry in the room was stained but the front desk people took care of that for me so I have no complaints. My room smelled like cigarettes and the tubs are old but other then the house keepers not knowing English they made my short stay comfortable. Oh and there no pool but great coffee

WORST place i ever stayed at. It constantly smells like Mold here. Everything is damp. The smell was so bad that when I left and got home everything I had brought with me smelled like mold and cigarettes. There were cig burns in the sheets and stains. I highly doubt it was even washed because we found what looked like pubic hairs under the covers. Within 1 hour we had already killed several bugs. Man at the front desk so rude. He told me he wouldn’t charge me for my dog staying. After I mentioned according to the company website all red roof inns have free accommodations for pets with no cleaning fee as long as they don’t make a mess or destroy property. None of the house keepers spoke English when I asked if I could have some clean towels. I literally had to play charade’s with them to try to communicate. The bed was broken and sunken in on one side. I constantly felt disgusting being here. Very shady place as well. The pictures online are catfish. Fridge didn’t work. Couple lights did not work or turn on. Stinky AC.

This was the last night over at the end of our 30 days road trip, for me and my three pet rabbits; on our way back home to Fort Lauderdale. I had one more free night voucher; so we stayed here. The room was nice, the staff were friendly, and my rabbits could play on the grass. The only issue was that the rooms were not cleaned enough; whereas a found a soda can tab on the floor and cigarette burn holes in the bed comforter. And although Steven, and the staff were great; some of the guests were definitely on the shady side and all hung out in the courtyard. One of them approached me to ask me if I was leaving, and where I was headed to. I told him to mind his own business. Always be security conscious when traveling! Other than that; I would definitely stay here again; and I’ll give it high rating of two rabbit ears up!!|( (|( -.-)|o_(“)(“)

This is the nastiest room I've ever stayed in. The room was filthy. Dusty, crumbs all over the floor from who knows when. The bedding was stained, the bathroom door looked like someone had tried to kick it in, it was split right down the center. There was no shampoo or soap, but I wouldn't have used that tub anyway, there were burn markes all over it. Looked like someone was using the drawers as ashtrays and no one bothered to take even a wet wipe to it or something. The location was conveniently close to the hospital, but I'd rather drive 10 extra miles than stay here again. It was 100% out of necessity because of the emergency we were suffering.

I HATE leaving bad reviews but this place was horrible. I'll add some photos. First online it shows a pool when I asked about the pool he told me the health department closed the pool 2 YEARS AGO!!!! That was the first red flag. We got into the room and it looked like bed bugs around the corners of the bed, there was pubic hair and blood on the bed, the bathroom was filthy, there were cigarette burns on the bath tub, the microwave was rusted and filthy. The smoke detectors were hanging on by a thread with no batteries, the curtains were ripped, the lock to the door was broke. There was so much wrong with this room. There were people hanging around outside drinking, smoking with their small child walking around crying and picking up random cigarette butts. I know you get what you pay for but still. We left immediately. The guy at the front desk was friendly and immediately agreed to refund us. This place needs some major house keeping done.

Interesting experience. This Red Roof wasn't the worst place I have ever stayed... but it definitely wasn't the best either. The man at the front desk was nice enough and explained how to get to our room well. The room itself very much needed some TLC. The negatives would be: the lamp shades had grey paint splatter all over them, the outlet in the bathroom didn't work, the shower looked like the kind you needed to wear crocks or something in so you didn't get a foot fungus, the air filters in the PTAC unit were almost completely stopped up (gross), and the WI-FI was very spotty to connect to. The positives would have been: floors that were not carpet (thank God), the TV worked good, a mini fridge and microwave were in the room, plenty of space for luggage and hang up clothes, the beds were very comfortable (I slept like a baby), and the main positive was the price wasn't that bad for the time of year. Overall, I would say stay here if you can't find a better priced option within a decent distance from the Historical District, and you are not going to be staying in the room much.
