Red Roof Inn West Point

Stayed here during the big snowstorm of the south, my room was a nice refuge when the roads were so icy and slick. Asked to see room beforehand and it was a little nicer than expected, but I did see a few hairs, so I requested new sheets. Glad to see hard floors not carpet! Front desk was friendly. Loves travel stop across the road was useful at such a time! I’m rating this for those needing a low budget motel not a hotel.

My room was nasty. The bed covers were stained. The towels were stained. The bathroom had black mold in it and bugs crawling around. there is no hot water to wash your hands.You can hear all the traffic from the interstate nearby inside the room. After switching rooms two times, I just gave up on finding a clean and quiet place to sleep for the night.

I came to work in the area needed a few rooms for me and my crew the man working kept giving issues saying he understands I need rooms but doesn’t want to give me a room. He was also asking many questions about my guys ethnicity and ages which was highly inappropriate considering he didn’t even give me a room. Then to compare my group to some people who gave him troubles a few years ago saying we are going to break his rules when we just arrived to the hotel looking for a place to stay ONE night. Our groups are known by many hotels in the general region who WANT our business, but never have we experienced such discrimination and rudeness by a red roof especially it’s disappointing.

A beautiful location I would say. Very quiet location and rooms are really clean. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We were treated very nicely from checkin to check out.

Room was clean for the most part. But the toilet seats should be changed they are damaged and putting some kind of freshener in the rooms. It had a smell.

This place is a total joke, if you’re looking for a roach infested, blood on the comforter, black mold on the ceiling and old cigarette packs in the garbage stay here. The front desk and owner lack morals and don’t have a clue about business practice. When I brought the roach issue to the managers attention she told me the cockroaches were bad because the bug guy just sprayed lol, then said there was a old cigarette pack in the garbage because I rented a smoking room. I wasn’t even aware there was a hotel that still allowed smoking in the rooms. I was in my room long enough to see what I saw which was 2 mins and they refused to give me a refund because I went into the room. This place is filthy and infested with cockroaches let alone dogs barking in the rooms and the place looks as it hasn’t had any maintenance done on it since 1997. I’ll be contacting the county health department and fire marshal tomorrow to make a report and have them look into all of this.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. The room was filthy, the mattress was brown, the comforter had cigarette stains on it even though we requested a non smoking room. There were several people hanging out in the parking lot around midnight being so loud we couldn’t even sleep. We booked two night but only stayed for about 45 minutes. Property manager will not give us a refund. Never ever again.

My husband and I just got here at 2am after a long 12 hour drive and when we went to take a shower, there was no hot water. I’m highly disappointed to pay this much money to not even be able to shower.
