All we can say is, wow!!! This was a stop for us on our drive from MT to WA and we didn’t know what to expect, not knowing the area. When we walked inside we were met by the loveliest family who are the owners and the hosts. They shared with us their impressive plans to renovate this beautiful historic building. My family and I stayed in two rooms on the wing that was fully renovated. The rooms were spacious, so clean and very comfortable. There were so many thoughtful and historical touches that made the stay special. And the inclusive breakfast in the morning was such a treat! (Possibly the best breakfast potatoes ever.) We hope to come back in a few years and see more of their renovations! Thank you so much.

Booked this hotel last minute while we were a couple hours away. Don’t let the outside fool you. Rooms are newly renovated and the hotel is run by an amazing family. This place is a piece of history in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. If you have the opportunity to stay here I would highly recommend it.

Worth staying over any place near by! Highly recommended. We weren't well when we arrived (we had been driving for two weeks) but this place was awesome. We stayed in the room with the attached bathroom and absolutely loved it. They are very pet friendly and there is a huge park across the street to walk your pet. The kitchen was very good. I enjoyed the pulled pork and fish and chips. The coleslaw was incredible. The kids of the owners work the hotel and accommodations, and I absolutely love this. I think instilling hard work and ownership in children is very important and they were absolutely great at their job. They made us feel at home and saw to our needs at all times. The glassware was fitting for the place (bespoke perhaps) and the accommodations were exactly as expected (I have high expectations). We parked near our room and felt secure at all times. I never felt that we were not safe here.

Our stay here exceeded our expectations. The room was perfect. Ice cold water was brought to our room upon checking in, which was super refreshing on the hot day. The bed was so comfortable and we slept great. Breakfast was top notch, and the service was impeccable. We really enjoyed our peaceful time on the front poarch. The town is super small, the Mansion is the only restaurant. Any item from the menu is your complimentary breakfast. What we had was excellent. Can't wait to return someday.

We had a wonderful stay. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was great, Not just a grab and go, but a menu with lots of options, cooked to order. We had the potato scramble and biscuits and gravy. Both were so good. We hope to be back again to see the progress(ongoing restoration project).

It’s amazing to see the property and the changes that are happening. Love that the owners found this abandoned place and saw the potential. Rooms are beautifully done, and the bed in the Snowy Owl was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The family who owns the place was incredibly friendly and kind. I appreciate having an interesting, comfortable place to stay as I made my way on a cross-country move. Also convenient access right off I-90. It was really the perfect overnight rest. A note for guests: This is a place to be considerate of those around you. The building is obviously very old and things can be kind of loud. Overnight while everyone was asleep was VERY quiet. In the morning there were people repeatedly slamming room doors at like 6:30. Be conscious of the noise your actions are making and everyone can have a happy, restful stay.

We are so glad we stumbled onto this hotel, it was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday! We would highly recommend it! Our room was beautiful with lovely details. Breakfast was delicious and varied. The owners are wonderful people who were willing to help with anything we needed. It was hard not to walk away with a smile after a conversation with either of them. Parts of the building are still undergoing renovation and yet everything was spotlessly clean. I am excited to return and see more of the building and what marvelous changes happen.

What an amazing place to stay! My husband and I truly enjoyed staying here and definitely plan on going back. The room was comfortable and relaxing and the owners were so kind and welcoming. They have a beautiful front porch to sit on and enjoy the mornings or evenings with a gorgeous view of the mountains.
