Baymont by Wyndham Champaign

This hotel is now called Sleep Inn, by Choice Hotels. It was very nice on the outside. The inside was newly renovated, and construction workers were inside working when I checked in and out. They were gone by 7pm, so not an issue at all. The room was clean and the building was quiet. The biscuits and gravy were piping hot, there was cereal, waffles, yogurt, and fruit. Only issue was there was no orange juice or apple juice, but there was water and milk, so it was fine. No problems checking in or out. Nice location, right by the interstate.

I'm not too sure why it says Baymont by Wyndham because this location was a Sleep Inn by Choice on January 9th, 2025, lol. Well, regardless, it was fresh and new and 10/10. Perhaps it's just now being swapped over, but it's certainly immaculate inside. Highly recommend.

How can you be a hotel that serves breakfast and charge for breakfast this is the third time I've been here when all they have is spoiled milk for cereal when they offer hot breakfast such as eggs what's being scrambled over easy some sausage gravy for biscuits and gravy waffles pancakes they have all the stuff sitting on the counter to provide but they don't use and their orange juice machine does not work

Danielle was absolutely amazing great sense of humor beautiful customer service a full breakfast rooms were clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. We got a hot tub room. My boyfriend is 6 foot two 280 pounds we both fit very comfortably not like your standard hot tub room would definitely stay here again.

The room was used. The lotion and shampoo were empty or half gone. The pillows had stains and hair on them. The blankets and sheets were stained and or had hair and crumbs on them. The sink was dirty. The paint on the walls in the bathroom was disgusting. I was highly disappointed and so uncomfortable staying there.

The hotel has a damp musty smell when you walk in. I stayed on the third floor a few weeks ago, and it smelled horrible. The room was dirty and dusty. It looked like no one vacuumed behind the chairs in a long time. It rained, and I noticed the paint bubble up in one spot. I was willing to look past all of this because it's around 50 bucks a night until I saw roaches. I'm not picky with hotels, but this one was pretty gross. I stayed at the quinta Inn a few weeks later, and for the extra 8 to 10 dollars a night it was well worth it.

The Bed was comfy... Spider webs all over in the room and around the hotel. We had bebe holes in the wall and in the picture in the room. For coffee drinkers this place has it posted they don't want you to fill your personal cups. Oh for people who look for breakfast this is not the hotel for you. The week I was here they only served biscuits and gravy on the weekend. Nothing but waffle and oatmeal during the week I believe I made a poor choice picking this hotel. Oh let's not forget the bathroom looked like they tried to hide the mold and did a poor job.

The full experience was absolutely amazing!! The room was priced well and the employees were extremely helpful and kind. The room was nice and very clean. This hotel was right down the road from the casino and had all your basic needs near. An incredible evening!!
