Our dance team from Purdue had such a great stay here last weekend! The location was super convenient, everything we needed, from food spots to event venues, was within walking distance. There were coffee shops within just a few feet from the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made the whole experience even better. Thank you to Edith and Jena from the front desk as well! They were so helpful and made everything really easy for us. Overall, we had a good weekend and would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, convenient stay on the UIUC campus.

I chose this hotel primarily because of its convenient location right across from my son’s school, and it turned out to be the best decision! Ms. Decker, the manager, was incredibly helpful, especially when I had an issue with a cancellation due to my own mistake. She went above and beyond to resolve it. Ms. Edith at the front desk was also wonderful. She kindly answered all of my questions when I first made the reservation, and later, when my husband accidentally bumped his head in the room during our checkout, she didn’t hesitate to provide everything we needed for a cold compress, including towels and ice. While you would expect hotel staff to be friendly, what really stood out was how professional everyone was, and how much they genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. It made our stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay again in the future.

We arrived late (10:30 PM). Edith was great at check-in. The room was clean and quiet. Parking is now $10, but the garage was easily accessible and well-lit. We were leaving town several hours after check-out, so the front desk coded our room key for a 4:30 departure with no problem, and we didn't have to pay extra. (You need to hold on to your room key to exit the garage.)

February 2025. I am DISGUSTED at the state of the rooms at this hotel. I travel heavily, have status with Marriott and always stay at Marriott brands. I am not hyper-critical or uber hygienic person. I’m not the person bringing their own towel or pillow case to a hotel room. I understand mistakes happen. This hotel needs an overhaul of their housekeeping department. After checking in mid-afternoon into room 311, I noticed that the floor in my bathroom was clearly unclean. I saw a black plastic tags from a new clothing item (the thin little plastic hang tag). After seeing that I began to see large amounts of black hair and dirt on the floor (see picture). There was also a stain on the bedding. I called down and asked to change rooms. At the time, they stated they had no other king rooms available so I opted for two queens. Fine, I’m solo - no big deal. I repacked my bags and moved. The room they moved me to was much smaller than my previous. Got in new room (412) and had to immediately go to dinner. After returning from dinner, unpacked, got ready for bed and entered bathroom. There was a USED, WET WASHCLOTH on the edge of the bathtub. Now, being hyper cautious, noticed additional stains on bedding, hair on bedding, and the floor was also unswept. Again. I called down to the front desk. He offered to come “remove the item” but I did not want him entering because I was in my PJs at this point, unpacked (for a second time) and it was 9pm. I had other coworkers also staying with me and couldn’t change hotels. He said he would leave a note for the manager and I could talk to them in the morning. I made due with a dirty hotel room. UPDATE. The next morning I packed up again, and had the absolute pleasure of meeting the “manager” Damien. Damien seemed maybe high? He was wearing a t-shirt, holding a cleaning towel, and seemed completely unphased by concern. After explaining what happened very calmly but firmly, he stared at me and said nothing. I asked if he understood and he said “okay”. I then proceeded to ask what next steps were and he said he could get me a new room. I asked how I would be compensated and he said he could offer me 2,000 points. 2,000 points after sweeping a pile of hair from one bathroom floor and picking up a used washcloth from another bathroom. I said that wasn’t acceptable and he said he would connect with the GM who was at a conference and would not be back until next week. What I found in this hotel is complete unacceptable. Do not stay here.

We had a business event at UIUC and had a room block for our staff at this hotel. The entire team went above and beyond with customer service, from hotel management through check-in and housekeeping. This hotel is newly renovated and I was very pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. I recommend staying here when in the area!

Really awful experience. I was visiting the nearby UIUC campus for business. The room wasn't very clean (weird smell, past occupants' hairs in the shower and in the bed), the area outside the lobby stank like dumpster trash, and it was extremely loud outside my window until 2am. Would not recommend for anyone hoping for a peaceful and quiet night's stay.

Great place, convenient and the prices are not too high. Places to stay become very hard to find when parents and family start visiting campus but my parents stayed here and they really liked it

Service is great based on the receptionist I interacted with both morning and evening. Fantastic on all counts. I’d difficulty finding the entrance into the hotel with car when I first came, but there is plenty parking garage for guest. Connectivity to YouTube is also great addition. Too many components that I don’t see in most hotels, it’s almost like you are home. I saw closet, I was like Waoh. Big Fridge, Dish washer, plenty cabinet and a host of others
