Hyatt Place Champaign/Urbana

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. The amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were excellent. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay—I would higly recommend it!

Great experience with the room, amenities, parking, and location. The room was exceptionally clean. Blackout shades are on every window. The location is in the middle of a quaint small downtown with plenty of entertainment options. The breakfast was the typical fair. I liked that they use washable plates, cups, and silverware.

Great location and very nice rooms. We were in close proximity to some very good restaurants in downtown Champaign. ||||I would give an excellent rating except the bathrooms needed better cleaning. There was long black hair all over the bathroom floor.

Hotel is perfectly situated downtown - near great restaurants, bars and other downtown activities, it's a perfect location. Anything you need to get to in the downtown area is walkable so get out and explore. Hotel is clean and staff is very responsive. I've stayed at other Champaign hotels and this one of the better options, even if a little more expensive. Hotel offers breakfast for guests - don't expect a custom meal, but it's a serviceable start to the day. We had a minor room issue and they attended to the maintenance within 5-minutes of my call - huge kudos to the engineering staff and front desk. After a 3-day stay, we'd highly recommend this property for your next stay. Be sure to get out and enjoy the local establishments - and stop by Punch, the cocktail lounge attached to the hotel.

This hotel is nice enough and was comfortable for the wedding we were attending. Some small adjustments would make the stay better including better water pressure, hotter water, and working blinds. It was also very noisy if you get a room near the elevator.

Great location and great rooms. Breakfast had a good variety and the best was the EV charger we were able to use overnight to charge our car!

I am local and needed a hotel room for me and my cat for the day bc my house was having some work done on it and we couldn’t be inside while it was being done. I went to the front desk two weeks before the day and talked to the guy at the front desk about my needs, mentioning my cat at least 3 times during our conversation, where afterwards he booked me a room with a pretty good deal. On the day of the work, I showed up at about 10 AM and told the woman I had a reservation and explained I would be gone by the evening. It was at this point where she told me “we don’t allow cats” and after telling her about when I booked, she was nice but just said “sorry”. So I had to spend time in the lobby calling other hotels, taking the cat back out into the cold, and booking a hotel at a price $40 more elsewhere in town. I wouldn’t trust this Hyatt again and will make sure people know about my experience.

Great location to hospitals and two good restaurants right across the street. Guido's makes a mean martini. They also have a Tesla charging area in the parking deck which is extremely convenient. I think they also had a charger for non-Tesla electric cars as well.
